i see! im glad your getting so good at it! do you have a car? Well, I wouldn't say I'm exactly 'good' at computer stuff. Yes, I have a car, but it's a piece of junk. It's a Volvo that's older than you, in a nondescript shade of blue. The only good thing about my car is that it's paid for. I don't believe in car payments. Never had one, never want one.

Hey, one of the teachers in my high school had that sign in their classroom. Ironically, I did do all those things while I was still a teenager and 'knew everything'.

That's you? Wow, that's great! My kids take gymnastics, so I know how much practice goes into it. Of course, my girls are still little and working on simple stuff. But they really like it. They're very active and pretty much fearless...I call them the Adventure Girls. Over the weekend, they climbed something like this:

BTW, my kids hit the rebellious stage when they were about two years old, and haven't left it since.

You know, the part where they threaten to move out because they do not like your rules.

I try not to think about the upcoming challenge known as 'the teen years'. And if I get payback for my teen years...I'm in big trouble! I was really good at the teenage rebellion stuff.
ohhhhhhhh!! rock climbing! how old are they?
They're six and eight. Six is the youngest allowed at the rock climbing place near here. They loved it! They were climbing higher than big boys. (The big boys seemed a bit embarrassed by that fact.) They had safety ropes...my husband and I had to belay (hold the safety rope and keep it tight ) for them...but we had to for each other too.

I'm just as guilty about the sitting by the computer all day. Although I do exercise. Once I turned 30, I had to. They really like gymnastics, so they'll probably continue. Oh, yeah, they love KP. In fact, they're the reason I started watching it.

When I think back to things I did, I want to lock them in a tower from about age 13-18. But I won't. My parents were oddly overprotective and unavailable at the same time, and I want to be the opposite of that. I want to be there for them, but I want them to have plenty of freedom to be themselves and make their own mistakes. I just hope they don't make my mistakes.
