When hearing of the USA Today survey, this is what a friend of mine had to say when responding to it -
The question of which show to save is easy, Disney's Kim Possible. I could go on and on in praise about the humor, beauty, plots, and intricacies of the show which I enjoy and make Kim Possible special, but for me it is the emotion that makes it even more special. I'm a rather sarcastic person by nature and have seen the cliché of friends eventually becoming romantically involved play out a number of times. However, the circumstances leading to that result between Kim and Ron was different. The evolution of their relationship from friends to something more stirred something in me, a reaction absent from all other similar outcomes in other programs. Although I cannot logically pinpoint a reason, I actually cared about these two television characters, something that had never happened before. It is funny, animated programming is commonly relegated to children, but for me Kim Possible, with two animated characters, was able to portray the realization of love more genuinely than any duo of live actors I have ever seen or seen since.
Some people may dismiss Kim Possible for whatever reason because it's easy. Instead of making the effort to breakdown preconceived notions and realize how unique and special it is, they simply just say it's a kid's show and move on. I understand that not all would feel the way I feel even after giving it an honest chance, but all would agree that animated programs should not be able to capture emotion so truthfully, yet Kim Possible does exactly that. Most shows on television, animated or not, are a dime a dozen, Kim Possible is not one of those shows.
Kim Possible is special and this is why I am a member of the Fight for Five. It is not just for me, but also for these individuals, those that have had their lives changed for the better by Kim Possible. There is still passion, inspiration and joy to be experienced and appreciated in future seasons because Kim Possible is not just entertainment; it is clearly something more.

all I have to say is, wow. This show does inspire me, because I am in high school, and I can seem to relate so many aspects of HS to the show. It is a really special show and should have a fifth season, for all of us to remember down the road.

I like KP because its only thing that gave me hope few years ago. For me is about legacy of that show. That you can be better even when it looks like that whole world is against you and can do anything you want when you believe in yourself.

Your friend summoned it up perfectly sombershadow, those words are plain and simply what I feel. Kim Possible is anything but a kiddie show and you can really feel for Kim and Ron, cartoon characters or not, you feel for Kim and Ron and you can feel their pain, their sorrow, their happiness now that their together, and your rooting for them to make it. And yes manofevil it is people like yourself and all of you guys fighting for five that will turn the tides in our favor and get us Season Five.

I too agree this show is so much more than just a show. As Kim and Ron moved up in school to leaving for collage so did I. I’m just about to start collage and I felt like Ron did a bit scared of what’s going to happen next but the show helped me to get ready for collage. I would love to see the show back. I don’t just miss the show I miss the characters I miss Kim and Ron. Come on Disney you have to let the show live on for more than 4 seasons.

When they sick the guidance councillor onto ya, you know its time to bow out gracefully. And I couldn't think of a better place than under this article.
I broke my own motto and natural instincts stirring up trouble here. 'Never rock the boat. Observe silently and gracefully.'
I thought I saw an impossible dream and had fresh ideas that needed to be heard, even if it meant stepping on a few toes. But I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the defence put up against me, namely by Tidus. To every point I raised he presented a clear counterpoint. He left me reeling and soundly thwarted.
Add to that and you guys have a guidance councillor, you’re more organised than I thought.
Confident that I’ve tested the movement and come out second best I think I can happily return to the one place I can make my own little pipe dreams a reality. Good old fanfiction.
….
Tidus: Stand by what I said. Any request (within certain boundaries). Even if I have to write the critics a friggin letter. I’m contactable on fanfic.
Darkwarrior: Nice trap. I feel so stupid for falling for it. But I really do see the funny side.
Grandpa RD: Sorry to cut to chase. Never gave you the chance to analyse me did I? Well you can always visit on fanfic. I’m sure there’s plenty enough wrong with me.
Just remember three things - TV Critics are people too. - There is no shame in compromise.
And most importantly - What the hell ever happened to that tracking chip in Ron?
I mean there’s conflict! There’s drama! I was waiting for that to pop up the whole of Season 4! The writers seemed to have been setting that one up for ages. What the hell happened?
(Actually Grandpa RD, that chip complaint you can take to the higher ups. I would LOVE some answers on that one).

Kim Possible shows us that we should enjoy the good things in our lives, and that we shouldn't have to stress ourselves out for everything.
