Okay this morning some parts of Tucson, excluding my neighborhood, had a major Power Outage. A Major Power Outage. And it effected traffic signals too. When I went downtown today, as I was on my way to school, I saw a lot of constables (police officers in case some of you don't know that), and wondered why they were there (plus I had the oppertunity to turn in a pair of scissors I found on a street that might have and could have easily blown out tires.
When I got to my school, I saw an officer at the Intersection of Stone and Speedway where the Campus is and asked him what was with all the police officers and he told me it was because of the traffic lights. Plus I did see a couple of traffic signal intersections have their lights flashing in red or in yellow.
I didn't find out until later that there was a power outage.

Then after school I, well, hang out on 7th Avenue to watch a train cross and did so before school. Then I was heading home on my bus but part of our route is delayed due to Police Tape blocking a certain section off between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue on I believe 12th Street. I assumed that a homicide or something had occured (my prayers to the victims). And we had to take a detour. We were fortunate there was a street we could take and it led us back to Broadway Blvd and we turning on to 4th Avenue but ended up behind a Stop Sign in the middle of the road and had to back the bus up, and the driver even had to blow the horn to warn people that she was backing up. After we backed up we made it passed the Stop Sign.
When I saw it on the news, I think it was a stabbing downtown but I'm not totally sure that was same place.

And later after I got home and caught the 6:00 News I also find out that not only was there a massive power outage and a stabbing downtown, which was where I was today too but fortunately in another part of downtown, but I find out that there was an accident on Interstate 10 near Houghton Road, southeast of Tucson. A police chase was going on and the suspect ran into a another car and this is the sad part:
The woman was 8 months pregnant but sadly she won't be having her baby. Even though she survived, her unborn baby didn't make it. I was so angry when I heard about that and said to myself "THAT MAN DESERVES TO BE PUNISHED BIG TIME! THAT WOMAN DESERVES JUSTICE!"

Way back then we used to use Houghton and I10 back when we lived on the other side of town.
But I just thought I'd share some crazy events that have occured in the Tucson area today. And I was affected by one of those events, kind of.
