Hi!! I always wondered if Shego has a best friend. Who does she talk to, when she has problems or whatever? I can hardly imagine, she talks with her brothers, so do you guys think Shego has a best friend?
If yes, is it a female or male friend? And why?
If not, why?

Well, in my fanfiction I've always had Shego's best friend be Starr Arcturus Luna, but I'm not sure that'd fit into canon, especially since she's not so much a character as a author, but I suppose it could work.

I always figured that Drakken was kinda like her best friend.
I never really considered it.

Interesting. But I think it might be Drakken, since she'd never really had the time for a social life.

Well, mrnielsen has a point on Shego not having too much social life (She said that herself in "Stop Team Go"), and it's practically because of that that we don't know so much about her personal life.
So, aside from Kim and her becoming practically sisters-close during said episode, I doubt Shego has someone close enough like to call a Best friend. She does seem to have some friendship with Junior (more than with Drakken, if you ask me), but I doubt he'd be the one to whom Shego would trust her problems.

I tend to think no, she doesn't have a 'best friend' in the traditional 'girls who go shopping together' sense. Not everyone does, especially once they're older, and especially if they happen to have a demanding, time consuming, and rather solitary career. And Shego doesn't exactly seem to be a 'people person' (that's not an insult...I'm not a people person either...some people prefer to keep to themselves more). She seems to be more introverted...not as in 'shy' but as in 'prefers her privacy and doesn't like to open up'. I think in reality, Shego and Drakken probably are 'best friends'. Of course, I tend to think they feel more than friendship for each other, as well.

Hmm... I would probably say drakken.. Shego dosent seem like the type to have a girl best friend.. i mean seriously people, could you see shego going "OMG we are BFFLs, Girlfriend" no, i dont think so! Mabye back in her school years, but on the tv show, i think Drakken could classified as her "best friend" .. she would probably be reluctant to admit it though!

in my opinion, shego isnt that typ of person, who ever wants to have a friend. she´s a lone wolf on a strange way and still mysterios. about drakken.... hmmm that is a bit difficult to explain. its like a "hate love". without him she cant be, but with him also. so they both need each other to be "complete".
you cant call the relationships between drakken and shego love. but in they´re innerst i think, they got feelings for the other, but they are just to scary to show it to each other.
well, thats just my opinion

I wondered this when I read Eienvine's Love And Lemonade, where post- Graduation, Shego goes to Kim for advice on her relationship with Drakken because Kim is "her only female acquaintance". (She ends up talking to Kim's mother, surely a better option.) You'd expect Shego would have other acquaintances on the villain grapevine, receive job offers, pick up villain gossip and to meet at conventions. But I don't think she'd have any close friends, being a prickly, cranky loner who pushes away closeness. As for Drakken, I think wizzkid has a point. They find each other too annoying to stay together, but find it worse to be apart. Neither would like to admit to wanting the other around, but if they were/are a couple, they'd probably be more solid than K/R, if only because neither could admit the other had won and driven them away. "The secret of a successful relationship is to become irretrievably embroiled in a bitter struggle to the death" says a man in a very lively and incredibly happy relationship that the D/S shipping reminds me of. A site called Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About is bound to do that.

Well, in Shego's typically dysfunctional way, Kim is her best friend.
When they're not fighting each other, they act like friends.
I can't recall the specific scenes, but Kim says something and Shego agrees with her.
In that scene, they were acting like normal friends, not enemies.

Well, in Shego's typically dysfunctional way, Kim is her best friend. Maybe so, but Love and Lemonade's phrase "her only female acquaintance" suggested she didn't know any other women. Supervillainy may be largely a "guy thing", but she's got to know a few villainesses. There's enough to support a magazine. When they're not fighting each other, they act like friends. I can't recall the specific scenes, but Kim says something and Shego agrees with her. In that scene, they were acting like normal friends, not enemies They sometimes do; the start of Graduation springs to mind: Kim suggests Drakken is running out of ideas, Shego responds "He thought he was being original."

If I may, I kind of think that Senor Senior, Junior may be a sort of loose friend of Shego's. At least in "The Big Job" anyway, the two showed mutual respect, and were at least, not hostile towards each other.

Best friend. No. She's just not that type. Loose friends, maybe. Acquaintances, maybe. Allies, maybe. Best friends... way too much give there for Shego I think. She wouldn't get the "give and take" balance.

She wouldn't get the "give and take" balance. Well, that hits the nail on the head. Loose friends and acquaintances, probably. Allies, maybe. Best friends, no. Though Drakken and in a funny way, maybe Kim, seem to have got close to her. Here's The Day She Found Out by Mr. Wizard, which is relevant. (And top work: Mr. W adds new dimensions to Shego) Well, in Shego's typically dysfunctional way, Kim is her best friend. When they're not fighting each other, they act like friends. I can't recall the specific scenes, but Kim says something and Shego agrees with her. In that scene, they were acting like normal friends, not enemies. I love this example from "The Mentor of Our Discontent": Kim kicks Shego away, who lights up and jumps over to face Kim. They pause for a moment. Shego: So...small talk? Kim: Not so much. They resume fighting.
