TWILA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i saw ur myspace pics! pretty girl! Thank you, Mel! I assume you're talking about the MechaCon pics? How was the convention you went to over the weekend? It went amazingly! ;D Including myself; my sister, my mother, my best friend, my guy friend, and two new gal pals I met at prom all attended MechaCon together. We were there from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm, doing the most otaku (geeky) things you could think of. We shopped in the Dealers' Room, we attended the cosplaying contest, and we watched Vic Mignogna in, well... everything. Vic is the voice actor for Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist), and as you can imagine, I was a bit fanatic throughout day. We ran into him a few times by chance, and I finally got to meet him and get his autograph late that night after his concert. Surprisingly, I didn't act like a fangirl there. He's just such a cool guy, you can't feel nervous around him. In addition to my cool celeb meeting, I got $70 worth of stuff, a lot of laughs, a lot of pictures taken of my cosplay, and a newly fortified sense of friendship with the people I came with. And now, I have to plan for next year. We might be staying all weekend! Haha, awesome, Twi! I'm happy for you!

Who did you cosplay as at the convention? Oh, wow, your sister is still drawing... so she's not dead after all? I suppose you could count it. I never have though. Travelling an hour and a half to go to an anime convention for a day isn't very much of vacation. How about staying for multiple days somewhere, how does that factor it? Did you watch the Obama and his press conference?

OMG, it feels like forever since I got on here last and actually posted! It's been a veeeery busy summer, and fall is going to be the same, but I'm glad I made time to come post. Thank you, Mel! Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. Next year, I'll be doing three costumes, because we're staying all weekend. LOL, no, GMC just doesn't play online a lot. How about staying for multiple days somewhere, how does that factor it? I suppose it counts as a vacation then. I did see it, amongst many other of his press conferences. Awe-Some! And still not over actually!

What did you end up doing for this birthday of yours? Not much today. Lots of birthday calls, messages over YouTube, MySpace, and Facebook, and a few $20 birthday checks. My parents gave me a new flash drive (which I wanted) and an iTunes gift card (another thing I wanted). And my best friend gave me a giftcard for the bookstore last week (something I very promptly used ). Tomorrow, we're gonna have a small party at my grandparents' house, and all of the gifts my mother ordered for me will be coming over this week and the next. Then my grandmother in Texas is sending me $100... Yeah, my birthdays are always a month long thing. School is busy this year. 11th grade... homeschooling or not; it's still tough. I like it though.

Turning your birthday into a Hanukkah type holiday... I guess that's good for you, huh?
11th grade = pre Calculus. I'll be expecting you to know how to take derivatives by the end of the school year. *gives stern look*

Turning your birthday into a Hanukkah type holiday... I guess that's good for you, huh? You got it! Most of the time, my birthday is recogized by friends and family all the way to Halloween. Ugh! I don't even wanna start thinking about that... Mom has me reviewing fractions before we go into anything new. I needed the refresh; I did not understand how to work them properly until now. oh yes, Happy (belated) birthday, Twila. Hope it was good one Thanks, Griff'! ;D Don't worry, it's not belated.
