The comic is finally out. Not to mention that the fan enthusiam resulted in it being changed from a miniseries to an ongoing series. First issue has some funny dialogue between Drake Mallard and Elmo Sputterspark/Megavolt. Not to mention that the ending of the issue hints towards: The reunion of The Fearsome Five. Overall the comic does capture the feel of the show. And like the Gargoyles comic it reads like a real expansion of the series rather than a cheap tie-in. If you comic store has a copy, buy it. If not order it. You'll be glad you did.

I've got it! And it doesn't disappoint! The humor and parody is spot-on, and every character is just as recognizable in comic format as on TV. Seeing Megav... er... Elmo stuck in a white-collar cubicle job is clearly a sign that St. Canard has changed... but not too much. Can't wait for issue 2 and the rest of the series.
