I created my first picture of a Kim Possible character and I'd like to post it in a thread and I'd like to post it on this message board. How do I post it?
By the way, my picture isn't perfect but it's a start. And I'll betcha you all know who I drew a picture of! And you'll probably be right when you see the picture.
But I cannot put it up until I know how to post it.
And my picture is computer drawn, not hand drawn, mostly because I don't have a scanner.
Also, one more question, does my artwork have to be JPEG and not Bitman?
Thank you all for your assist.
William

Two ways: One, set up an account at deviantart.com. They have a posting routine where you upload your files to them and they're posted that way in an online 'gallery' for watchers of your work to browse through - then post a link to your account here when you post something new. Lots of artists do this.
Two, use any FTP (file transfer program) to upload the picture to your internet services' website. Most internet accounts like comcast, et. al, will set aside 'space' on line for you to host your own website and store files. Consult your internet provider by phone or their main page for instructions on how to do this. They usually have links for their user accounts to point you in the right direction. Once you upload your file to your website with your FTP program (you can find may such programs online for free), you can post it here with the following HTML coding:
Type "img" (be sure to put BRACKETS around it) - "[ ]" and then the web address of your drawing. For example, "www.mywebsite.com/mykimpic.jpg" Be sure to end the string with "/img" (also in brackets) or it won't work. These tags should begin and end it. Or you can just post the link without the tags and it will appear as a line of text that can be clicked on to take you to the image.
