I've always wondered why Dr. Director wears an eyepatch, she doesn't look like she's been in any kind of acident, Gemini though, looks like he'd been invoulved in some kind of acident that not only cost him his hand, but his eye as well.

Maybe they had a fight which cost Dr. Director her eye and Gemini his eye and hand...

Considering that Dr. Betty Director and her organization is practically Kim Possible's answer to the Aurors of the Harry Potter universe, I would say an eye injury. That's my serious answer.
My non-serious answer is that Dr. Director wants to be a pirate. ;D

I say it's an actual injury, especially Gemini's hand.

I was first going to say that Betty's eye and Sheldon's hand were an injuries and that his eyepatch was just to copy Betty. But then I think I remember a scar on his face.
Can anybody confirm his facial scar?

No I think it's one of those birth fate things, like for instance, Gemini was born with a blind eye, and Dr. Director with the oposite. Maybe they had some ight inside their mother fetus, who knows? Well, colisions between twins nside the fetus does happen and even in earlier stages, one twin may absorb the other. Anywho...

The foetus is the actual developing human, after it is an embryo but before birth. I think you meant to say Uterus, the actual part of the female reproductive system where the child grows. I didn't know about collisions though, that's interesting

I think it's just another example of just how far-gone those are in their sibling rivalry.

I think it's just to look cool but may actually be an injury, much like Drakken's scar.

I think they poked each others eyes out after a falling out so serious neither can bring themselves to remember it.

I never gave it any thought I just look at Dr. Director and Global Justice as a nod to Nick Fury of S.H.E.I.L.D Gemini reminds me alot of Michael Lonsdale's Hugo Drax from Moonraker. A slight comedic version of Drax. To answer the question at hand I see it going both ways an actually injury or just to be well cool. But it could display a level of rank in Global Justice like the stripes on an officer/soldier's uniform.

I voted actual eye injury. Maybe they had a fight which cost Dr. Director her eye and Gemini his eye and hand... LOL, that was my personal theory too! At some point in their past, Betty and Sheldon had a battle with each other which cost them one eye each and Sheldon his hand. Mind you, I created a fan concept where they used prostethic science to replace their missing eyes. And yes, I think Global Justice is a not so subtle reference to SHIELD.

But it could display a level of rank in Global Justice like the stripes on an officer/soldier's uniform. I think an extra in "A Sitch In Time" depicts Kim as the head of GJ, and she has an eyepatch too. It would be a odd badge of office, though. Maybe it covers a bionic eye.

I do remember reading that Steve Loter said, along with Future Kim not being canon or to be taken seriously she has a perfectly good eye under the ptach.
