Well in a way I saw it coming (blame it on watching Boy Meets World ALOT.) I could easily see the two getting together and just awaited the day it would happen.
I bet will get a lil flashback moment of Kim talking about how they met and she'll admit there that she felt something between them back then.

And there's the rub, a lot of preschoolers don't hang out with other preschoolers of the opposite gender. True. I did not start liking girls till 6th grade. not that i liked boys like that but i never really was interested in females. Not so much that i believed in cooties but i can recall a few convos at 3rd and 4th grade lunch table that were NC-17 at the time. Just like how could a guy ever want to have sex with a girl (I edited in clean terms in this thread). I know what you mean, when you're young you don't really don't see many redeeming qualities in girls. You may know that it happens later on (I mean most people do have a mom and a dad), you just don't know how or why.

That would be awesome even if it's brought up by somebody not in a flasback that she thought there has been something there for a long time. Would make me forget about fricking erik and crap.

I was big into watching BMW when I first found KP so that influenced me into becoming a K/R shipper. And I would love to see a flashback moment like that!

Why shouldn't they? I know I would love to be in a great relationship with someone I've known for since Preschool. Well my best friend i met in Pre-K. He's a guy though and i do wish i had a great friend who was a girl. I just have never had one who is a girl. I met my best friend (female) when I was 4-5, unfortunately she's in a relationship with a guy that treats her like $#!+. Most of my close friends in HS were girls actually. And it was an interesting position to be in, they trusted me, and I ended up knowing more about their relationships than most of the BF's did because I was their silent ear/shoulder to cry on. Honestly, my best friend's BF is one of two people on this planet I would dance (and probably worse) on their graves (he's hurt her in the past, and I have a feeling he'll do it again, so I have nothing shy of hatred towards the guy). And a little more on topic, I ship K/R because I feel where Ron's coming from... it SUCKS!

Now that's a harsh situation. Does she know what you think of him?

Im a Michigan State fan but i know college locations of my head so im just curious. ;D Is she just a friend or do you want something more? The guy sounds like a D-bag.

Yeah, she knows I hate him... and she's asked me not to kill him (curse the PDP see sig, I'm a victim). She thinks of me as an overprotective older brother (we're 2 years apart), and he-who's-name-angers-me thinks I'm still his friend. I've found it's easier if I let him believe that.
It's all kinds of interesting, because for a while he thought she was cheating on him with me, and tried to get in my face. I was about to go beat the living pulp out of him when she finally convinced him that we were just friends and that she wasn't cheating.
Then there's the fact that every time I introduce someone to her, or vice versa, we always get the "are you sure you aren't dating?" or my favorite was "how long have you guys been engaged?" Neither one of us knew how to respond to that, I mean he was standing right there, and it created one of those "awkward moments".
Last Thursday she was in town for a track meet, and I went to see her run because I hadn't seen her in 2-3 weeks. One of her sponsors thought we were dating, and when I said we weren't there was a look of disbelief on the sponsors face. People I've never met assume we're dating, and told me (while she was running) that she seemed to be in a better mood after I showed up... What am I supposed to think?
EDIT: Slick, I used to go to K-State, and plan on going back once I figure out what I want to do for sure. And D-Bag is a polite term for him.

And she's with him why? Man, I hate women sometimes. Not that men don't deserve my wrath, like this guy we're talking about.

Yeah, well, I hate women who act that way! Like they can't spoil themselves enough to find a guy that will spoil them--or at least treat them like something of a human being... ladies, we all need high standards when it comes to guys.

Wait, even if I said something like, "I have a younger sister who I have to drive to school, it's so annoying"?

Piratess, I agree 110% with you, women should look for a guy that will treat them how they deserve to be treated (goddesses, or at the very least royalty). Chivalry IS NOT DEAD!
And slick, I don't wanna post any pics of her just in case she wouldn't like it, but here's a rough description: 5'5", blond hair cut just below the shoulder, blue/green eyes, a runners build (lean, but not anorexic), and a smile that will melt my mental defenses faster than Ron falling for the PDP. The word perfect falls short of describing her.

Thats the only advice ill give ya because im not an expert in the female department. ;D

I was just seeing how far it went. That wasn't even advice, you were just wishing him luck! Ok look, WftS, I wish wasn't saying this because it's so cliche, but if you ever want things to go farther with you friend, you're going to have to tell her how you feel (if that is indeed the case). I know it may be scary, because of the risk inherent in it, but that's the only way you're going to have a chance.

Well... I shipped Kim/Ron in my first 2 fanfics. I did so because of it being canon, and because K/R shipping is cute. I still believe those are my best 2 fanfics.
