In the earlier eps, Ron sounded WAY more like will friedle when he was in boy meets world, because will friedle is in boy meets world. and in Ill Suited, kim's voice was reall high.

Perhaps Ron's crotchal area was on the receiving end of some blunt force trauma?

Perhaps Ron's crotchal area was on the receiving end of some blunt force trauma? Yeah, Ron does sound more high pitched than he did before. However, the high voice suits his character better.

Perhaps Ron's crotchal area was on the receiving end of some blunt force trauma? Well, he DID join the football team recently.

Will Friedle explained in an interview that he looked at Ron's picture and tried to find a voice to fit. He eventually came to the conclusion that Ron would be the type of guy to talk very loud and high pitched. I have a feeling Ron's voice might deepen in later years, but not by much. Maybe just going back to his Season 2 voice. That was the perfect voice for him, I thought. Season 3 was too high for me. Season 4 is like a combination of Season 3 and Season 2 - sometimes it fits, sometimes it doesn't. Where was this interview at Ninja Rabbit? Also I agree that his voice in season 2 was perfect for him. And about his season 4 voice. Did anybody else notice a similar change happened to Senor Senior Jr. in Season 4? I remember 1st hearing his voice in season 4's The Big Job and thought that voice was really annoying.
