Don't get me wrong, I still like KP, and some chums I made here, but this isn't the place for Christians, if you know what I mean. Lots of perverted stuff here, most of you are 5 years older than me, profanity, and to top it off, some most of you don't like what I say outside the KP discussions. (I said that people who liked Kigo and other "slashes" are sick minded. I'll probably get one of those warning things, but whatever.) Also, I have absolutely no idea if people like or dislike me here, though I'd say the majority is dislike, due to what I said is the proper attire for women and homosexuality. (I like homosexuals, but hate homosexuality.) So, uh, yeah, I'll be leaving after I see some of your responses. If you have any questions for me or anything concerning Christianity, ask away, though I'm not a know-it-all.

(I said that people who liked Kigo and other "slashes" are sick minded. I'll probably get one of those warning things, but whatever.) Do you think that people are dancing in happiness when you say something like this? Anyway, if you don't feel comfortable being here, leave. I mean...what'd be the point of being here then? I think I haven't seen enough of you to say that you either should leave or should stay. In my opinion.

You have more than three strikes against you with me, including the personal attack on Nabu. Nabu is one of my best friends and if you mess with him, you're messing with me.
You can GUESS how I feel.
And I feel the same way that Baroque does. If you don't like it here, please leave. There are tons of people who like it here and beyond comfortable here.
That's all I have to say. At least above-board.

Good lord, Rocket I have no hard feelings, Shonna. I'm sure you're a good person at heart, and you've contributed quite well in the KP orientated threads. I haven't known you long/well enough to have a vested interest in whether you stay or leave - but I think keeping un-PC comments off the forum is likely to help you in the long-run - if you decide to stay here for the long run that is.

Good lord, Rocket As in "LOL, that's cool" or as in "OMG, you've totally lost it!"? XD OT: I don't know you, so I don't care. But it's always sad to see members leaving.

Religion topics are really touchy here. We have members from all over the world that encompass many different religions. Many of those members are really good friends of mine. As for the previness that just a fact of the site. it's been here for as long as I've been a member and I joined orginally in october of 2005. and it will be here long after you, or me leave.
If you chose to leave then Bon voyage. if not then try to have fun with everyone.

AHAHAHA! Thanks for that rocket ;D And this makes me wonder about our board... have we been getting too blue recently? Aren't we meant to be a board suitable for kids?

I'm a Christian myself but I hate it when people stuff it down people's throat, rub it in people's face and showcase it. Frankly, I don't care what your religion is. What I care about is if you're a good person and not hateful of other people.

ut this isn't the place for Christians, if you know what I mean. There are a wide variety of religions, sexualities, ethnicities, cultures, age groups, etc. on this board. And though they may not share the same views, they have continued to visit this forum day after day. The issues that you mentioned in your opening post have nothing to do with what beliefs you hold. Rather, I think problems have come to light with how you chose to state those beliefs. You're correct in that this is not a forum for individuals who like to live a more sheltered life. If one wants to limit their exposure to lifestyles that differ from their own then that is a choice one must make on their own. But it's a lonely, lonely road to take.

If you don't wanna be here because of the people who aren't like you, then you're just proving what I believe about Christianity. Frankly, I'd rather be friends with a gay person who accepts me for who I am then someone who forces me to change so they can feel comfortable. I will not change who I am for anyone. This is who I am. I am a bisexual college student from Texas who likes being above PG-13. If you don't like it, then don't bother me. I don't mean to be harsh, but, I will not put up with somebody who will make personal attacks towards my best friend.

What I care about is if you're a good person and not hateful of other people. This is why I don't like religion for the most part. A lot of people can come off as really arrogant, and I can't stand arrogant people. I don't mind the people, and I don't mind their beliefs but if they act holier than thou, or as if theirs is the only truth, than that's not right.

If you truly feel the way you do, I'm not going to say anything. If you feel uncomfortable here, I can appreciate that.
It's just that I've enjoyed having you around because I respect your beliefs so much and I like (usually) how you defend yourself. I, too, am a religious person, but even if there are members here who have things about them with which I disagree, I love them anyway. I just don't bring everything out.

That's why I love Sandra Penelope.
She's religious; a Mormon, but she has never once threw her religion in my face or attempted to stuff it down my throat. Or any of that. And I completely respect SP for that.

And I completely respect SP for that. Awww...thank-you! *huggles* ABL in one of the most respectful people on here--even as she defends her own beliefs. It is utterly okay to defend your beliefs whilst still being respectful to others. Heck, I love blabbering on about my beliefs and do so when people bring it up. But my religion has gotten so much crap during its time that I don't think I need to bring that same attitude to others.
