Boy it's been too long since I've done anything productive around here, a few posts here and there, but that's about it, which probably hurt my chances of being nominated in the new Mock Election we're having. But yeah, there's always next time right ?
The past day or so it's been raining like heck, today the streets flooded a little and one of our trash cans floated away, which is a pretty funny sight. Floating trash cans aside, it's been normal around here, hanging out with friends, playing some games, drawing, movies, stuff like that. During so, I have found two games that I ended up loving.
Dead Rising and the Metal Slug Anthology.
Okay thats more than two (Metal Slug Anthology has Seven games), but seriously, pick up those two games whenever you can. I've never had so much fun killing zombies, but the Psycopaths are even greater!
C'mon, Dual Wielding Chainsaw Clowns!
And Metal Slug....
'Nuff said! Well actually I've played Metal Slug before, but not enough to appreciate just how good it is, and a real inspiration for Pixel Art, which I've been trying to get at again. I haven't drawn much, and any I have I haven't been able to upload/scan yet. I've been trying my hardest with practicing in the art department, and when I'm not I'm typing things down for my story ideas and such.
And my new review, I had to heavily edit that since I got a Microphone, so I had to take out most of the text and started replace them with my voice clips. But does anyone still want a new one? Tough luck, I'm still gonna do it
Well, I think that's about all I can think of, I'm gonna try and be a little more active around here, in the old forums I used to attend I was known for something:
I had lots of good discussions and art posts over at Caves of Narshe, a forum for Final Fantasy 4-6, and at Horrorwatch I was a reviewer and knew some of the people pretty well and again, I did a lot of art here. Rs.net, I don't think I've made a name here, have I? Ah well, more the reason to try I reckon.
See ya'll later!
