Why? For two reasons:
1. I’m working on a job application, for Hobby Lobby no less! They take their stuff seriously, I can’t recall having to put if I’m comfortable with Random Drug Testing in any past job searches, which of course I’m totally fine with, unless Iced Tea or Strawberry Milk are hiding more than they put on… It may not be as snazzy as working at a Movie Rental Store, which was my first try, but hey, if getting the job means having discounts then I’m all for it, since I get most of my art supplies there. But in all seriousness, I really do hope I get it, it’s been too long since I’ve had a job and things do need to get paid.
….Girls dig guys who work at Arts and Crafts Stores right?
2. I’m trying out for an OC Tournament over at DeviantArt, it has a “Survivor” theme to it, but for the most part it’s gonna be artists being put up against other artists and drawing fights between their Original Characters. I got past the coin toss which is needed to even audition, which is a miracle all on it’s own, so now I’m working on my entry, which is like maybe 50% done, more or less. I’ve only seen a few of the others auditions, but for the most part I’m in the dark as to who I might be up against, which is pretty nerve wracking. But I’m gonna have to go for broke if I want to show just what I’m capable of.
So yeah, I’m crossing my fingers for both of these, and this probably means even less time checking up on here, but it seems a lot of other members are tied up with personal obligations as well. Best of luck to those of ye and take care, got some stuff to take care of.
