I'm a very, very happy person right now...But something is telling me...what's the catch? I mean...all this good must come at a price...right? WHO CARES!!! Let's Paaaaarty!!!! ;D Mr. Swenlin, you are welcome here. Especially for writing perhaps the most beloved episode for all Kim/Ron & Drakken/Shego shippers. Emotion Sickness. Were'n't you nervous when it came to airing the episode? Perhaps thinking you might disappoint the fans? however unlikely of course!

3 writers of KP joining in 3 nights? Coincendence or something good is happening to RS.net? Just 'cause RS.net is the largest KP forum everyone joins here. At least SDS still has the chat room thing. Or Steve told Bob who told Mark who told Brian.... Now who will Brian tell?

No wonder you seem to be skilled with electronics. God Bless you Geeks.
Oh, I'm Nightspade. I used to be called Sideways, and there's a funny story behind that...
Before Sideways, I was Nightspade. But my frustrations over my inability to do any evil (due to my beliefs in chivalry) caused me to develop a split personality. Sideways was every bit as evil, but didn't have any second thoughts about his actions. He lied and was very rude. And he hated everyone on the board (he just put up with them because he knew that angering all of them at once would ruin his fun). But he's gone... at least he will be as long as I keep taking my therapist's perscriptions. ;D

OMG, does that mean I'm actually liked again? Yaay! By me? Yes. I can't speak for everyone else, though. And welcome, Mr. Swenlin.

I cleaned up this thread too. Please stay focused on the topic of this thread. Please confine your comments to welcoming Brian and maybe asking a question or two. He hasn't even seen this thead yet, and I want to avoid a bunch of spam and off-topic comments in here. Thank you.

Hey there everybody! ;D
Sorry I haven't posted, but I joined the board a while ago and then got so busy that I forgot to check back. I had no idea that I had been officially welcomed and that posts were piling up in my absence. I appreciate your enthusiasm for the show and it's nice to know that some of my episodes are held in high esteem - I know I like 'em! I feel very fortunate to be involved in the show and to be working with such a talented team - we're really excited about season 4!
I was previously a freelance writer on KIM, but this season I've been brought on board as one of two staff story editors - the other being the ever talented Tom Hart. So, compared to seasons 1-3, I'm hip deep in this one. Along with various talented freelancers (I personally worked with Jim Peronto and Greg Weisman), Tom and I have worked with a couple of incredible staff writers: Kurt Weldon and Kim Duran. This season has been a blast and I can't wait for it to air so we can share the KP:S4 party with all of you!
I'll pop back in and try to answer that back log of questions on my welcome thread - covering Emotion Sickness, Fearless Ferret and whatever else that I can. As for how we all found the board? Word of mouth around the office - in fact, I just passed that word onto Mr. Hart, so be sure to make him feel welcome too!

FYI - The KP script OVERDUE was written by JIM PETERSON and not by Brian Swenlin. You heard it first HERE on Ron Stoppable's Really Neat Page!
I wish I could take credit, but I can't. See, I think what happened is that OVERDUE and ROACHIE were two 11 minute cartoons that aired together. Jim wrote the former and I wrote the latter. So the two episodes get lumped together in various databases. I suspect that IMDB started all of this when they listed both episodes with me as the writer - and then all the other intenet sites started copying information from each other and the next thing you know, Jim got complely lost in the shuffle.
So props to Jim on a great little episode - and props to story editor, Thomas Hart, for doing a bang up job overseeing both Jim's "Overdue" and my "Roachie" (...and my "Steel Wheels" and "Emotion Sickness", for that matter!)
