Actually I bet that Eugene is his first name names after his father.
Eugene Ronald Stoppable.
So the initials of Kim and Ron are
KAP ERS!
Wasn't that a proposed name to call the KP fans. Like Trekkers, and whatever the Star Wars nuts, er I mean fans call them selves?
Wait, let me look up the def for capers...... Never mind!

Thank you to the whole staff for a terrific run. I also wanted to thank the staff for taking the time to find out what the fans of the show were saying and responding to questions on this website.
I did have a question about the final episode. I could be reading into this, but I noticed that at one point Kim catches Ron as he's falling and then Ron catches Kim as she's falling later on. Was it your intent to subtlely show how Ron and Kim need each other? You know catching each other when they fall. Or like I said am I just reading into that?

Oooh, that reminds me of a question. Why exactly did Drakken say that Warhok looked familiar? Was it just because he looked like Warmonga, or was it a subtle illustration of the fact that Warhok is Drakken's vision of the type of villain he's always wished he could be? And then, the irony of it all is that----as this episode shows----he does much better as a good guy? Or am I too just reading into this waaaay too much? ;D

Ron: *looks at Birth certificate* GERTRUDE?!?! THAT'S my middle name?! Why didn't you ever tell me?!
And we all know what his parents would say ;D

When Shego was being controlled by that device that changed her emotions, I noticed two parts where the effects of the device looked similar to the effects of PMS.
1) That part where Shego is scaring Drakken by constantly switching between sad, angry and happy
2) That part where Shego thinks Drakken is abandoning her when he's actually just going to leave for a short while
Was this an intentional joke?

Though it seems this thread isn't frequented by any of the VIPs much as of late, I -did- come across something the other day which I feel bears mentioning. Admittedly it's all pulled from Wikipedia, but Wikipedia tends not to lie over an extended period, and these articles have been left alone for going on a month. See, I was writing a fanfic, and decided I'd like to use the term "harlequin" to describe the pattern of Shego's outfit... it's not -entirely- accurate, since harlequin is a diamond checkered pattern of usually two alternating colors, which fits, but usually the diamonds themselves are fairly uniform, which is not the case at all. Anyway, in the process of making sure I wasn't using the word completely wrong, I found something interesting. You see, "harlequin" is also the name of a color, a bright shade of green (75% green, 25% yellow, or thereabouts), like, say... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harlequin_%28color%29And of course, there's "harlequin" as it refers to a jester-type character, which was the basis of the character Harley Quinn from Batman. This use of the term (actually, this is the original usage and the others appear to be based around it, at least somewhat) originates in theater. "Harlequin" was the name of one of the most popular "zanni" characters from the Italian "Commedia dell'Arte," (play of professional artists). "Zanni" (perhaps the origin of the word "zany?") was the name given to a character archetype of "comedic servants," also based on the name of a famous character of that type. Additionally, Harlequin the character (Arlecchino in Italian) was known for being agile and performing acrobatic feats, something else that's sort of carried over into the common usage of the word as a stand in for "jester." Perhaps the most interesting piece of all of this, however, is that Harlequin and other characters cast from the same mold, were usually portrayed as being a servant to one of two other character archetypes. One of these happens to be the "vecchi" meaning "old ones/old" literally. They were a category of aged, male characters who almost always played the role of antagonists. The role of the zanni as comedic characters would then be in causing their evil schemes to fall apart. Any of this starting to sound familiar? I mean, it's not -perfect-, but it's pretty freakin' close! So I guess my question is this: Is this -somehow- all just an incredible coincidence, or is Shego's physical design a deliberate tie-in to the role of her character through the whole harlequin thing? Oh, and apologies for the length of this post, but I wanted to have a little dramatic lead-up there. hi8uslead: I realize I'm not a VIP, but might I recommend "The Complete Book of Scriptwriting?" I've only read a bit of it, but if nothing else the voice is good, and the advice seems solid, if it's now dated by about 10 years. It focuses a good deal on how to sell scripts, so it might help, and there's a section devoted specifically to animation scripts.
