I think they were a strong reference to the Tweebs, and they do talk alot like the tweebs (finishing eachothers sentences)

and they are both twins yet the tweebs can't duplicate themselves.

When I first read the title I thought this was a shippy thread. Yeah, I'm screwed up like that. ;D Shego's brothers were basically introduced to shed more light on her background, although I find the parallels between the Wegos and the Tweebs to be very interesting in a "Kim and Shego have something in common" sort of way. Hell, Kim said it herself: "I have brothers too. I know how hard it can be." While that wasn't what convinced Shego to go along with it (Kim using her website as blackmail shows that she's willing to grease the wheels a little bit to get the job done, which is yet another similarity to Shego ), the fact that Kim tried to use it as an argument shows that she's at least interested in finding common ground with her rival if it will help get the job done. But enough about KiGo (gawd, I have turned this into a shippy thread, haven't I? lol). Aside from being twins and having the ability to drive their respective sisters nuts, what other similarities do the Wegos and the Tweebs have? I honestly can't think of any.

The whole 'finishing each other's sentences' is a very common twin cliche...so...no. I don't really see that many similarities, especially since Wego don't seem to have nearly the intellectual capacity as Jim and Tim.

Aww they aren't annoying! I adore both sets of twins. I'd like to see them get together though, not in a shippy way lol, but like - a team up kinda way.

I just notice at this moment that in s4, it looks like about all of the characters have helped w/ missions and and all that, but have the Tweebs? I mean, not in seasons 1-3, but in s4?

The Tweebs have helped out in missions for season 4, and even before it. Trading Faces, The Twin Factor etc.

Does that mean Jim is the odd twin out? That's not very nice.

If I didn't know any better I'd say the Wegos are the Tweebs in disguise ;D

No, the shape of the eyes are different, plus the tweeb's have bigger noses. So even if they have a wig, they couldn't be the same persons.

Their noses look alike. Same style of drawing. It's hard to tell if the tweebs are always drawn with bigger noses unless I look up more caps.
The tweebs look a bit stockier than the wegos, although the wegos may just wear more form fitting clothes.
I can't think about this too long, tweebs and wegos creep me out (sorry nabu)

Trust me, I looked at the tweebs and went, "Wow, their noses are pretty pudgy". The actual term for them is probably "button-nosed", but I've always been bad at that. But the point is that I looked at them as 10 year olds, and then as 12 year olds, and they always had that really round noses. The biggest change so far has been that they have longer faces in S4, and are a bit taller.

I have no reason to distrust you on the subject of the tweebs noses etc., so yeah, I'll accept and move on...

I think the Wego twins were created mostly to create a parallel between Shego and Kim. It's one of those classic story telling things; If the hero can identify with their enemy that makes the villain more real, in depth and dangerous because it shows they're only human too.
Or something like that.
