Just something I couldn't help but notice, Team Go has seemingly gained a much larger fanbase since their season 4 appearences. Maybe it's my imagination, or hanging out too much with Nemo, but really, humor me for a moment. When Team Go was first introduced in season 2, many fans disliked them, I'd go as far as to say loathed them a little, mainly because they were preceived as annoying. Even one of out VIPs (Charlotte, I believe) mentioned that Team Go wasn't as popular as they'd first thought. During that time, there was a selective few (including myself) who really, truly liked them. It kinda shocked me when the fanbase demanded their return in season 4, and then MBS bring them back in two (three if you count the small cameo in Graduation) episodes, since then, I have seen much more of them in fan fiction and many more people who have shown to like them. So, my wondering is this, did Stop Team Go give Team Go a bit more popularity, or was it always there from the get-go?

I certainly think so. The writers formed a great foundation for all four characters, but nothing more in Go Team Go. A lot of viewers I'm sure recognized potential in them, and thats why it was quite obvious that the writers wanted to do more with them. I think Team Go has to be on of the best successes of season 4, especially evident in Stop Team Go, which is one of the top three episodes of season4. And if season 5 ever comes, I expect we'll see even more from them.

Not really sure. Being an "online" fan after season two...but I noticed that(well still) that there were so many unanwered questions about them, and that the fans learned to like them. When I first saw them, I could honestly say that they annoyed me at first...but now I sorta like them....I think it's the same way,one way or another, with every fan.....at least i think so..

Well, that Team Go gained more popularity after their Season 4 appearences, that's for SURE. Why exacly, I can't say, since it's not like they did any in-deep of them in those episodes, no more than what they did in "Go Team Go", at least. At any rate, I didn't like or dislike any member of Team Go any more nor less than what I already liked them in "Go Team Go". Then again, I think it may be because it was in "Stop Team Go" where we really saw them fighting, since during most of "Go Team Go" they had their powers stolen.
Also, at some point, their appearence also pleases Shego's fans, since it's like many things they do portray Shego "better" (like confessing that she was the brain of the team and the only one that could keep them focused).
"Mather and Fevert" also showed that they can be recurring characters for more than making some in-deep on Shego. So I guess that, if there's a fifth season, there should be some more chapters with them. Not exactly about them, but some appearences would be good.

LOL, j/k... ;D I think they got more popular in season 4 because Stop Team Go was just sooo funny... and I guess we got to see them using their powers a lot and working together and all that...

That's what I thought. In GTG, we really only got to see Hego use his powers, the rest were powerless for the most part. Also, in Stop Team Go and Mathter and Fervent, there is some minor character growth with each of the members, we learned more about their lives and why the team broke up, this probably made them more enjoyable! ;D

To add to that, STG allowed us to see the darker and more annoying side of Team Go.
As villains it was interesting to see them serving someone rather than being the freelance heroes they were. And with them being irritatingly funny, it gave them a new enjoyable edge!
I think what would be really interesting to explore in Season 5 is their alternative lives.
We know Hego works in Go City's Bueno Nacho, but what about Mego and the Wego twins?

I'm going with the idea that he works for Smarty Mart.

But I wonder how many red headed high school twins are out there in Go City for you to guess their identities? Mego working in Smarty Mart.......... Yup sounds like his type! ;D Would be funny to see Ron get a transfer to Go City and working under Mego, who would be assistant manager!

I'm under the impression that they have an alternate look, like Hego, that's the only way to keep a secret identity. Oh, the plotbunnies! Stay back, evil bunnies, you know I'm already swamped with story ideas!

A Team Go spin off would be pretty cool, Hego is my favorite of the bunch with Mego in second place. I'd love it if Mego was worked at Smarty Mart, it would be so funny to see both heros doing the same type of jobs as RonXD If Ron transfered to the Smarty Mart at Team Go I'd love that.

Well, they should gain popularity. They are wonderful sendoffs to every generic team of superheroes out there.
