I often think this about different things, but what about KP?
If, after seeing your first few episodes of KP or after seeing all of season 1, you'd been shown STD or a season 4 episode... how would you have reacted, would you have seen it coming? ;D

So, if after becoming a Kp fan in 2003 and having seen a few episodes of season 1 and 2, somebody shown my S T D or say... Ill-Suited... this is a good question. How WOULD I have reacted? I mean, judging by my first write up about the show, "Kim and Ron should get together" I think it would have came as a slight shock and though I saw it coming. Okay, I'm building a time machine to go back to September 20, 2003 and I'm bringing my DVD player and S T D dvd to show to 15 year old Ashley Benlove (before I was even called that) and see what my reaction was. ;D

If someone showed my season 4 or STD when I first became a fan I would have been like Boo-yah! I have been a K/R since the beginning of the series in june 2002. I always knew it would happen even if it took mush longer then I thought it would. I would not have been surprised or anything else.

I saw it coming. I saw So The Drama after I saw a few episodes. It's kind of weird I guess.

That's what happened to me! Watched a few KP episodes, saw StD, then saw every episode of Kim Possible! I always had an inkling that KP and Ron could make a good couple, even from one episode! But I was seriously stunned after StD!

I'm a K/R shipper, so I kinda expected for them to hook-up. However, the 5 episodes of Season 4 has exceeded my expectations so far. I've watched the 5 episodes over and over again 6 times as of to date!!!

Well I signed on right before season 3 started so it's a bit surprising that I wasn't at all surprised by seeing Kim and Ron get together at the end of StD. But then it should be noted that one of my first episodes was Emotion Sickness so that might have gotten me used to the idea and liking it. Plus with other episodes like Bonding being some of the first ones I saw I have all sorts of wierd views about the show. But nah, I was less surprised than I should have been when they got together.

I'm a Kim/Ron shipper.I'm glad & happy they're now together rather just being best friends.

Well... when I became a fan in september 2005, it was after STD had aired. So here on RS.net I saw all sorts of screencaps of the K/R dance and kiss even after only seeing a few episodes of the show. Everything in the show was so new to me, the fact that K/R became a couple wasn't that big of a deal.

Yeah, this is exactly what happened to me. I saw maybe 10 or 20 episodes before I watched So The Drama. In fact, the movie was what got me hooked to the series in the first place. At that point, I didn't even get the reference to the catchphrase "so not the drama", so it was like, "what does 'So The Drama' even mean?" The episodes I'd seen included Gorilla Fist, so although I was still getting to know the characters, I somehow knew that these crazy kids would end up together. Even though the entire movie's plotline built up to that moment, it still kind of caught me off guard a little. In a good way Edit: I just looked it up, and found out that Gorilla Fist is a season 4 ep. My bad guys. So I gotta revise my opinion and say that, no, I never would have seen it coming. I mean, season 1 Ron and Kim were just friends. It was clear that they liked each other, but not in that way, you know? Woulda been awkweird. Never would have thought that the character development would go in this direction, but they somehow found a way to make things work. They have great chemistry as boyfriend and girlfriend. Edit pt2: All right. I had the impression that So The Drama was the season 3 finale, and Gorilla Fist aired awhile after that, so I thought it was season 4, forgetting that season 4 actually premiered a few weeks back. It's all so confusing to me, but I think I've got it now. Forget the spell checker, I've rarely had any use for it. How about a fact checker?

Probably goes with being a pink sloth.
Gorilla Fist happened near the end of season 3.

Ironically it seems a lot of people saw StD near the beginning of their KP interest... But me too, actually StD was my first real exposure to KP...before that, the last half of Bueno Nacho is what sparked my interest, and my sister happened to have StD kicking around. I'd have to say I was quite shocked at that last scene Having only seen half an episode and the movie itself, I always thought Kim and Ron had a sibling-type relationship...and even though Ron admitted his feelings and they danced, I did NOT see that kiss coming I like, jumped to the edge of my seat, lol.

Well, I pretty much was a fan since the show began, and I remember saying to my roommates (we all watched it together) that Ron and Kim should get together. So I think I would have been thrilled to see it from the getgo.

StD was one of the first things I saw, and everything fit in well for me. Drakken was evil before, so his take over the world scheme worked, and Kim and Ron were so close in the episodes I'd seen that I was more surprised to learn that they weren't dating before. I think I'd just seen Team Impossible and a few other assorted episodes before it.

Hmmmm, It's an interesting thing.
Would I have been surprised they ended up together? No. I became a KP fan after spending several years in the magical world of anime, and well, the friendship to lovers theme is rampant in that world. So, I was expecting them to get together at some point.
The thing that does surprise me is the show CONTINUES. I would have expected them to get together at the end of the series' run, and therefore have some magical happy ending. I thought when I saw STD, "wow, this is a good ending." The making of season 4 surprised the heck outta me. I don't recall ever seeing such a major plot theme resolve so far before the end of the show.

Surprised that Kim and Ron got together? Nope! After years of anime rotting my brain the childhood friend pairing has become something I expect. Besides I thought Ron looked sad in Season one with Kim and Josh so I kind of saw it coming. Now he's happy and so are half of the fans. The other half ran out of Nacos. So sad.

I wasn't taken by surprise with the happenings of STD, or season 4 for that matter. Even though I've never been a shipper of K/R I wasn't surprised by it's coming to be a reality.
I've been watching KP since June 2002, and I've enjoyed every moment. Even the very K/R episode of Emotion Sickness, which is a favorite for different reason then anyone else's. It's nice to see that the character have developed some since their beginnings, giving them the concept of a depth more intune to reality. No changes along the way will change that--unless a character has an untimely demise anyways. ~Mara
