I've been working on this thing for nearly half a year (not counting my absence from the fandom/internet life). It's been put on hiatus several times, mainly due to technical issues with the program I use, but it's finally done... and is one of the few videos I've done that is extremely close to 'my vision', even if I'm kinda unhappy with the ending. It's also my first shot at a fast paced song and not based on the Kim/Ron relationship (but it's sprinkled in there). Locking Up the Sun www.sharebigfile.com/file/91676/Locking-Up-the-Sun-avi.html(High Quality XviD AVI, 80MB -Sharebigfile- there's a 30sec waiting period, but that's better than Yousendit's weird deal...) www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X5Gl3UD7ic(Youtube - The beginning segment looks absolutely horrid for some reason... but gets better at the 10 second mark...) www.megaupload.com/?d=OTMHAZDW(32MB WMV, Low-Res version) Every clip was taken from So the Drama, which made it a challenge to find enough clips to keep the video engaging.

Wow, awesome music video. Very catchy song, too.
Oddly enough, the lyrics kind of remind me of the Simpsons 2-part episode where Mr. Burns tried to block out the sun.

That was amazing! I can see why it took a year and a half.

Great job, Will! You kept that video quite engaging. Good timing on synching everything up to the music. Song choice was quite awesome as well. Anything from Poets of the Fall always rocks. I would say that half a year was put to good use.

Bravo! I enjoyed that immensely.
I'm continuously blown away by the people that have such wonderful talent here.
I also enjoy learning about new music, too. Well, new to ME, anyway.
Thanks, and keep up the fantastic work, Will!

Wow, awesome music video. Very catchy song, too. Oddly enough, the lyrics kind of remind me of the Simpsons 2-part episode where Mr. Burns tried to block out the sun. Thanks. The lyrics kinda reminded me of that Simpsons episode (pair) when I first listened to it too. That was amazing! I can see why it took a year and a half. Thanks. ...and it took half a year... not one and a half... but I know what you meant. And thanks for that. Great job, Will! You kept that video quite engaging. Good timing on synching everything up to the music. Song choice was quite awesome as well. Anything from Poets of the Fall always rocks. I would say that half a year was put to good use. Thanks. The timing with the actual music aspect was definitely a different approach for me, usually it's just with the vocals, but I decided to try something different for once. Marko Saaresto = brilliant Thanks again. Bravo! I enjoyed that immensely. I'm continuously blown away by the people that have such wonderful talent here. I also enjoy learning about new music, too. Well, new to ME, anyway. Thanks, and keep up the fantastic work, Will! RD Thank you, RD. Trust me though, the music is pretty much unheard-of to just about everyone here, so you're not alone. I got a new shippy vid formulating... just so you know... ---- I'm now using Sharebigfile.com's service for the high quality version... You need to enter a small image confirm deal (so it knows you're not a net-bot) and wait thirty seconds before downloading. It's still kind of a hassle, but it's better than signing up for a yousendit account... www.sharebigfile.com/file/91676/Locking-Up-the-Sun-avi.html-First posted edited with new link too. -I'm working on getting a low-bandwidth version out, but it's pretty tough finding a decent compression ratio that doesn't slaughter the beginning segment without making the file over 40MB.

Don't kill me for bumping (double posting)... It's been 'bout a day since my last post... I finally got a Low-Res version out for anyone on a slow connection without the crappy YouTube quality. If you didn't like the beginning segment because it looked so horrible there (me being one of them) and don't want to download a 70MB file, this is the one to watch. It looks a lot better here. The lower quality isn't without flaws, though. The music synchronization is a little off (hardly noticeable), but it's forgivable for the size/quality ratio of the video itself. www.megaupload.com/?d=OTMHAZDW(32MB WMV) --- Questions? Comments? Concerns? Anything? I'm all ears (well, technically, 'all eyes', since I'll be reading it ).
