You're so gonna hate answering all of these!
Hah. This is actually pretty awesome, since it'll help take my mind off what a stressful time I've had since last Thursday. Let the healing process begin.
What do you think of slashy ships, i.e. Ron/Felix, Kim/Shego?
I think they're awesome, never gonna happen in canon (that's the right terminology, I think), but still cool. I was never much of a "shipper", though. I just learned what a "ship" was sometime in late '05.
What was the last 'intimate' dream you had?
Wow. Funny you should ask, because I NEVER have "intimate" dreams, but I just had one last night where I was making out with Megan Griffin off Family Guy. We only hit first base, and we were fully clothed. It really caught me by surprise, because I haven't been into Family Guy in years. But I recently saw the episode where she makes out with someone who's also named Jeff, so I guess something must've clicked in my subconscious. She was a great kisser, but then, I guess you have to be when you're showing up in a dream like that.
Are you a member of any other KP communities? SDS, ARA, MKP?
Nope.
What KP merchandise do you own?
I know I might get crap for this, but nope. There's this cereal box that used to sit around on my refrigerator, which had some sort of KP contest, or sweepstakes, or something. Must've been up there for over a year and a half.
Do you have all the episodes?
Nope.
Look in the nearest waste-paper-bin, what do you see?
Let's see here. Aww naw! It's empty!
I believe there may or may not be a God, or Gods. There's no way to prove it one way or another, but I think there might be someone up there. Not this Nazi guy from the Bible. Someone...cool, as childish as that may seem.
Five foot nine.
I bring up a lot of stupid dirty jokes to my friends, but no, I'm no Ron Jeremy.
What are your political affiliations?
Very liberal on social issues, somewhat conservative on economic issues. At this point in my life, though, the social aspect of the political spectrum matters more to me than the economic side. So I vote Democrat. Well, voted once, the only time I was allowed to vote.
Does your bedroom have any posters on the walls? If so, what are they of?
You'll never believe this, but my walls are bare, except for one Family Guy poster I put up a few years back. Since then, I lost interest in the show, but the poster's become part of my room now. Actually, naw, I still like the first three seasons, but I'm not as into it as I once was.
What's the last movie you saw at the cinema?
Borat.
Which friend of yours have you known the longest?
I met most of my friends roughly the same time, late sixth grade to early seventh grade. I'm a former military brat, so I moved around a lot. We eventually settled here in D.C. It's all right, I guess.
What level of the foodchain do you consider yourself?
A few notches below the "cool kids", but a few notches above the dorky kids. I'm part of the growing middle class.
I was glad to find out that nobody really cared about the caste system once I hit college, but I guess it's still there, underneath it all.
Five words to describe your personality?
shy, loud with friends, calm
What hobbies/interests do you have aside from KP?
I watch a lot of TV, hang with friends, listen to music, and more and more I find myself on this internet thing.
Let me preface this answer by saying that the purchase in no way reflects what I watch on TV at the present, or what I will watch in the future. I saw this great deal on eBay. It was the DVD with the Arthur music video episode on it, so I bought it. This must have been, what, 2 years ago? The only DVD purchase I ever made, besides a box set of Family Guy, seasons 1 and 2. Never much of a DVD buyer, though. I have a DVD player somewhere, but it's not hooked up. I'm more than content with expanded basic cable.
Now that I think of it, I don't think I have a favorite movie. If I had to go with one, it'd be Breakfast Club. That was a good movie.
Have you seen 'Interview With The Vampire'?
Nope.
I'm pretty good at math, and my friends say that I can rap all right.
What do you wear when you sleep? Jammies etc?
Tighty whities.
Where is the computer you are using located?
It's a laptop, on my bed.
Yes.
You are hittin' all the right questions today! It was Monday or Tuesday, and I was listening to Billy Joel's "Greatest Hits Volume III", and when it hit "Leningrad", I cried like a freakin' baby. I guess all the stress made me more susceptible to emotions, or something. The last time I cried was early October, when I heard the Billy Joel song "Goodnight Saigon". Also like a freakin' baby.
Oh yeah. More recently than that, Tuesday or Wednesday night, I heard "So Far Away" by Staind on the radio, and I cried. Those were tears of joy, though. Have you ever cried tears of joy? It is freaking crazy, man.
Have you listened to the KP Soundtrack?
Nope.
First thing you notice about the opposite sex?
Gotta be the face.
First thing you notice about the same sex?
What clothes they have on, because they convey whether the person in question is ghetto, prep, goth, or whatever.
If you could have one power, what would it be?
I think the power to manipulate time would be cool. I could pause pause time, get more sleep or catch up on that project or whatever, go back in time to the eighties or the nineties, and maybe hit up the future. Yeah, that'd be awesome to the max.
What do you hate about yourself?
Sometimes, I wish I could stand up for myself and what I believe in more. Also, bad at English, and I'm not very creative. I can't draw either, but whatev, I've never really had a need to draw anything past 6th grade.
What do you love about yourself?
Let's see here. I don't hate the way I look, and I like how I'm good at math and learning things. I also like how I stay calm under pressure.
Ever wish you could live in another part of the world?
YES. CANADA! I know it's, like, only a few hundred miles away, and that they're a buncha freaking socialists. But their social policy is great. Here in America, we're still having this bullsh*t debate about gay civil unions, and Canada's all like, "well, screw you, we already have nationwide gay marriage, since that's just how we roll". And they're in the process of decriminalizing marijuana, if they haven't already. We're still doing the "war on drugs, waste more money" thing.
Australia would be all right too, or the UK. Anywhere they speak English, since I really, really suck at learning foreign languages. But I like it here in America, it's all right.
Look behind you, what do you see?
A wall, painted white.
What's your average daily food intake? For breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks etc.
For breakfast, I eat soup, or a can of ravioli. Lunch, McDonald's, sandwiches, whatever. For dinner, something with rice, or some spaghetti or something. I used to be big on snackage, but for some reason, I don't really snack much anymore. And I never gain a pound.
I believe in a free market that destroys the environment and tortures innocent animals. Oh yeah, the abortion thing. KILLING INNOCENT FETUSES. I AM EVIL! Nah, I'm not that evil. I don't hate anyone. Some people are just painful to hang out with, but I find a way to avoid them.
I think I might be, nobody's tickled me in awhile.
How well can you handle babies?
I've never tried. I don't really like babies or animals that much. I mean, they're OK, but you know how we roll.
Ever watched 'Doctor Who' [it's a Brtish sci-fi show that recently went over to the US]?
I think I saw a few episodes when I was younger, but I don't remember any of it.
What do you think about the world we live in?
It's pretty chill. I mean, Africa's a hellhole, and the Middle East is all in turmoil and all that. But I'm living in the land of opportunity, man. I'm lovin' it.
What's your fashion taste like?
I always wear baggy jeans and a grey designer t shirt. I'm like a cartoon character that way. I used to have some black shirts, but they've found a way to disappear over the years. I'm the dude who buys new clothes once every few years.
Yes, I've got a feedback rating in the mid sixties on eBay.
Could you survive without the Internet?
Probably. I'd go through withdrawal for a few weeks, but it'd pretty easy. In fact, for most of 2004 and 2005, I was off the internet.
Do you like Harry Potter?
The books were pretty good. I swear, man, I could not stop reading those things. The movies, they were OK I guess. I fell asleep for most of the third one, and I never really caught the 4th one.
What's the most expensive thing you own?
My car, 4000 dollars. The ability to drive wherever, whenever? Priceless.
Socks, slippers or bare feet?
I used to wear socks, but now I just do the bare feet.
How often do you go outdoors?
Walking to my car, walking from my car, and that's about it. I used to walk EVERYWHERE, back in the dark ages before December '06. There were years and years where I had to walk 45 minutes to hit the mall. So I think I've compensated for any lack of walking I do now.
Do you have any allergies?
Yes, a lot. Peanuts, cats, pollen. There's probably more, but those are the big ones.
Last time you visited the hospital?
In April '06, I had this flu thing.
Do you have any prejudices?
Against people? Nope. But I do have this thing against bad TV. I can't stand any of the reality shows they play on MTV and VH1, except for Pimp My Ride, Yo Momma, and Rob and Big. Before summer '05, I couldn't stand kids' TV shows, but when I got cable in my room, all I could watch was Nick and Cartoon Network for a few months there, until I developed a real taste in TV. I used to hate Disney Channel, but summer '06 I started watching KP and ADJL, and they're good shows.
Name a chore that you hate to do, but have to do anyway.
Hmm. I haven't done chores in awhile, so it's like a distant memory to me. Putting up with all the lame hoops I had to jump through and all the bullsh*t of living at home used to be a chore. But most of that's gone now.
What's your favorite subject at school?
Math. I remember I was actually disappointed when I reached the end of the line and took all the math courses my school had to offer without going into "honors" territory. And as a slacker, I've learned to avoid anything with "honors", "IB", or "AP" in the title. Now I'm in college, and the math is better than ever.
Who was your first crush?
Oh my God, man. Like, 5th grade, there was this one girl. My best friend had a crush on the same girl, so that was kinda hilarious.
This other girl, 7th grade through 9th grade. Once I was over her, I vowed never to have a crush again. And I've kept that vow, to this day. Relationships with girls? Yes. But none of this "secret admirer" bullsh*t.
Do you do much downloading?
Yes! BitTorrent is a godsend. I haven't bought an album in so long.
Last time you went to a party?
Last weekend.
What's the earliest memory you can remember?
I remember once, my parents said I couldn't watch Sesame Street if I didn't have food or something. This must've been, like, 1990 or 1991. I was 2 or 3. I also remember watching The Little Mermaid when it came on home video.
How close are you to your siblings, if you have any?
I have a sister, and we're pretty close I guess. I haven't seen much of her since I've entered college, but it's all good. We're two years apart, but we have the same birthday.
What do you have on your pizza?
Mozzarella cheese. None of that "4 cheeses" mess. And the less cheese and the more sauce, the better the pizza, in my opinion.
Gonna post a picture of yourself on the 'What Do You Look Like' thread?
In due time, in due time. Maybe I'll break out my sister's digital camera sometime this weekend, who knows. It's all good.
