[Please note, the full title of this thread is "From your lips to the author's ears: When you can't write out a plot bunny, but others can."] All right I'm starting this thread because I (and I'm sure many others do) have a lot of plot bunnies running around in my head, but not necessarily the time or expertise to write them all. So when you're in a similar situation come post your ideas here, and authors can pick them up for use in their stories. All right here's a plot bunny I thought up, but will probably never write. The story I'm thinking of is K/R at it's core, but has almost all other pairings in it. The story revolves around Kim and Ron getting sucked into an AU, and after getting a dimensional gateway from that universe's Justine Stoppable they travel to other universes in order to find a way back to their own. Here's the catch, every universe has a different pairing (Rongo, Kim/Yori, A/R, etc.), some universes will taken from other franchises or be fusions, and some will be taken from other fan-fictions. Obviously this story has the potential for a lot of K/R angst and romance between our two travelers, as they will have to overcome a great many of their internal problems. I can see this story having 30 to 40 chapters, but who knows? Here's hopping someone will pickup on it.

So you're saying that people suggest ideas, and other authors just pick them up and use them?

I've got this, but I don't have anywhere to go with it. Still, I like the idea:
As they fought, Shego told Kim the latest villain gossip. Kim said "That's Dementor for you. She ducked. "Oh, did you get an invitation for Senor Senior Junior's coming out party?" Surprised, Kim hestitated for a moment. "His what? Really?" Shego took advantage of that moment to kick her across the room. "Yeah, who'd have guessed? Well, I had my suspicions." Kim jumped to her feet, somersaulted through the air, jumped again, and came in on a flying kick. "But wasn't he into you?" She said "And me? That whole "Blue Fox" nonsense?" Shego jumped to her left and fired a blast of plasma at Kim. She raised an eyebrow. "Really? Guess he was confused then...or, he is now." Kim dodged the attack and was anticipating the next one. But the villainess just stepped back, put out her plasma, and held up her hands. Shego said "Wait a second. We're fighting and we can gossip like old friends over dinner? What does that tell you?" Kim held her fighting stance, frowned at her and said "That we've got a lot of history between us? That we could be friends if not for this "evil plans for world domination" stuff?" Shego replied "Okay, but the real problem? We're not pushing ourselves anymore, or each other. You're supposed to be the last defence against our evil plan. I'm supposed to be beating the one thing stopping us taking over the world! We're not even breathing hard - you'd think we'd put more effort in! We're too comfortable; We might as well be chatting over cocoa." "Just like they are." Kim pointed to Drakken and Ron. Shego glanced quickly over to them, then did a double-take. "What the-HEY!" She left Kim behind and walked towards Drakken and Ron. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I'M BUSTING MY BEHIND HERE! You're just chilling with the sidekick?" They scrambled to their feet. "Don't even bother," Shego told them.

So you're saying that people suggest ideas, and other authors just pick them up and use them? Yeah, pretty much, that's the general idea.

"We might as well be chatting over cocoa." "Just like they are." Kim pointed to Drakken and Ron. Shego glanced quickly over to them, then did a double-take. "What the-HEY!" Seems more like a oneshot blurb to me, or something to be inserted in a fanfic fight scene. The line quoted above was hilarious, though. Edit: Hmm, a plot bunny has been bouncing around in my head for a while. I might even do this myself, but if so, not for a while. Feel free to write your own version with this. Remember the "Stop Team Go" fight scene, while Ron was evil and bouncing all over as he dodged the beams from both Electronique and the Attitudinator? What if the beam that hit him, supposedly turning him good, was actually one of Electronique's beams that had bounced off one of the many reflective surfaces in the lair? It would explain Ron getting shocked, but still keep him evil. Slightly disoriented, he prepares to fight but backs into a corner. Suddenly, Team Go pushes him to the side heroically and he realizes his opportunity. For the next (however many the author decides) episodes, Ron stays incognito as a hero like his good counterpart pretended to be a villain at Jack Hench's Villain Convention. Eventually (most certainly after the Attitudinator was destroyed, of course), Ron would reveal his true evil essence. It would explain his evil grin as he zaps Electronique (bumping off the competition?) and why he "accidentally" turned Shego back evil (for her to do the sidekick thing again?). True, there are a couple holes- Electronique's blasts were a different shade of blue than the Attitudinator's- but it's the magic of fanfiction! The basic idea of Ron still being evil has been discussed at ronstoppable.proboards89.com/index.cgi?board=rufus&action=display&thread=6136

It was suppossed to the opening scene for a short fic where Shego realises that their attempts to take over the world (and Kim and Ron's appearances to stop them) have degenerated into a cosy social arrangement. The plot comes from what she does about it, but I couldn't think of what that might be.

;D (Far too much smiley: and there's no "laughing" one.) That's a good idea for a parody one-shot. What does Drakken read for fun, or for inspiration? I Showed Them All: Memoirs of a Supervillain"Oh, please, Doc. That guy was a total poseur."

Ron, and we are talking to Dr. Drakken, who is… Drakken: Here... to talk about… um, this book. Ron: Your book? Drakken: Apparently. Ron: Ooo, great, what’s it about? Drakken: Um, me, it’s about me. Ron: Yea, you’ve been threatening to write a book for a while, can you tell me more? Drakken: Well, I... I rather like me.

A story incorporating Mim and/or Jonathan into the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. A Time Squad crossover that deals with the continuity issues in Season 4, tying them to an imminent collapse of the space-time continuum. Aforementioned book Drakken wrote.

Here's a story opening for grabs (the second part would come later, after more of the phone conversation, and some stuff with Kim and Ron.) I think it's right out of character for Drakken, but there must be a good reason. It just needs thinking of, and writing.
On a sunlounger in the Maldives, Shego grunted with annoyance, and took the proffered phone. "Doc, what have I told you about calling me on holiday?" Drakken's voice was apologetic, but serious. "I know, Shego, and I'm sorry, but I had to tell you myself. I've decided to give it up." "Is it the cocoa or the Oreos? Because either one would be a good step. The karaoke would be even better." "No, Shego." he said gravely. "The world domination."

"Alright, people, listen up! Mr. Severs is off sick after he got too enthusiastic with the magnesium powder. We have a new Physics teacher: Say hello to Mr. Lipsky."
I know, fun with magnesium powder is more chemistry than physics. Say he was doing experiments at home.

Hahahaha! troper ;D I like those bunnies! Cody, this is a great idea! I have been tempted to create a plot-bunny dumping thread for a while, but I wasn't too sure about it. Once I organize some of my crazy bunnies, I'll contribute to the thread.

Well, you're welcome sir. Actually, this thread is a bit of a tradition for whenever I join a board, so it was inevitable that it'd pop up here. As for the plot bunnies: remember, you don't want to unleash them all in a single post. Stretch them out over several posts so as to not overwhelm us. Oh, and good luck!

Don't worry. I wouldn't want this to turn into that old movie where rabbits killed people.

The story revolves around Kim and Ron getting sucked into an AU, and after getting a dimensional gateway from that universe's Justine Stoppable they travel to other universes in order to find a way back to their own... Sounds like a great idea. So whatever pairing, or AU, or other work of fiction you're into, you can land Kim and Ron there and see how they fit in. I don't know what to do with it though. I have a similar one, where some plot device send Kim bouncing through time. She's trying to get home, and being Kim, she's doing favours for the people she meets. But she's landing in historical events, and her interference is threating the stability of the the timestream. The main action focuses on Ron and others as they try to find her and fix the damage she's unwittingly doing. Kim only appears in numerous "Thanks for the ride..." scenes that set up the latest problems: "Thanks for the trip, Captain!" "The least I could do, Miss Possible. Without your warnings, we would surely have hit that iceberg." "Thanks for giving me a room, Mr President." "For saving me from that assassin's bullet, I am firmly in your debt, Miss Possible." "Oh, no big. I just happened to be in the theatre and I saw him take aim." "...after you talked the Russians into withdrawing those missiles, the whole world owes you, Miss Possible." And so forth. Alternatively, she could be skipping through fiction, with similarly disruptive results: "If you hadn't saved our spacecraft from that cosmic storm, who knows what the radiation could have done to us?" "Without you, I would have divided my kingdom by having my daughters flatter me. Thank you, madam." "If you hadn't got my children out that treehouse, the comet could have killed them!" (In case you're wondering, the first two are Fantastic Four and King Lear.) Sounds like fun?

No, this was supposed to be a "horror movie", from the obscure 70's or 80's.

No, this was supposed to be a "horror movie", from the obscure 70's or 80's. . . . I got zippo. Anywho, here's an idea I recently got for a fanfic: KP/Star Fox . . . Don't get it? It's really quite simple, you see, an accident happens on one of Team Possible's missions to retrieve the Pan-Dimensional Vortex Inducer (How many times has that happened?) and Kim, Ron, and Rufus end up getting transported to Cornaria. A dozen possibilities could explode from there, can you guess some of them?

The cast are at a convention, meeting the fans. Kim is sweet and friendly to everyone, but bunks off for a mission. Drakken is upset that Shego and Ron get more fans than him (so does Kim, but that goes without saying.) Shego has fans lining up to meet her, but finds it a bore to be nice to them. Fortunately, everyone expects her to sarcastic and rude.
The idea just popped into my head some while ago, with Shego signing a little boy's DVDs: "My daddy says you're his favourite character." "Well, thank you." "He says he "totally would."" "Ricky!" said his mother. Ricky asked innocently "Totally would what?" Shego grinned wickedly. Ricky's mother's apologised profusely, but she ignored her. "It means he'd really like to my special friend. Tell him I doubt he's even nearly man enough." "SHEGO!" yelled Dr. Drakken.

Here's one I was just recently thinking about:
What if Ron and Kim had met their future selves during the whole time monkey, Shego rules the world, Drakken's totally buff, episode? Who will they become? What is their relationship?
