I have noticed a trend that has been going on for some time now, and I decided to do something about it, Gang.
People have been doing what I'm calling "Improper Quoting"
What is meant by that is illustrated here.
A proper quote WILL have the NAME and DATE/TIME STAMP on it, such as THIS example...
A quote that is posted in THIS form...
What is meant by that is illustrated here.
Done with a 'Cut & Paste, is NOT acceptable and cannot be considered a "Quote"
While it IS ok to cut and paste in a VERY informal situation where such quote is not vital to a conversation that is casual and not meant to be strictly informational, if you are in a conversation (for example) where a VIP is being quoted, the former form of quote MUST be used.
Doing otherwise and NOT using the time and date stamp form of quote will render the quote as unusable and may be considered a false or misleading quote.
This rule was clarified because some people were making false quotes.
I hope this clears up any problem.
