Three poems I have written, the last one today:

Act 1: I see your doomsday invention
As I infiltrate your lair
You somehow know I’m coming
And an evil grin you bear
I’m securely in your clutches
Beaten, filled with shame
Do you really need to rule the world
Or to you is this just a game?
I’ve seen your haughty smile
I’ve seen your hate-filled glare
I’ve seen every face on Zorpox
But the one that isn’t there
Your skin, that horrid livid blue
Sends shivers down my spine
Come on, can’t you fight it?
I need some of your Ronshine
Oh, Ron, can’t you hear me?
Can’t you feel my pain?
Come back from the dark side
In evil, what’s there to gain?
Where did you put my best friend?
What have you done with Ron?
Is he inside you somewhere
Or is he really gone?
---
Act 2: Her opponent gloats as she’s fallen, weak
Her final battle, her only defeat
She has dueled with each crazy superfreak
But this blue maniac she can’t beat
His inner demon’s unleashed; he’s possessed
The epic struggle inside he has lost
When he’s at his worst, he is at his best
He’ll take over the world, but at what cost?
She falls with wounded body, heart, and pride
For where once was a best friend’s smiling face
An enemy’s glare and sneer now reside
Indeed, a villain’s has taken its place
Behind foul eyes’ glint, does good still fight
Or is it only a trick of the light?
---
Act 3: He stared down at his former friend
His revenge all but complete
Knowing she needed a godsend
To somehow escape defeat
She shuddered, frightened not of death
But of the innocence now disappeared
Searching his eyes for some faint breath
Of one she formerly endeared
A ruthless grin, a second’s thrust
And she had left this cold, cruel earth
Not a tear, nor hint of disgust
Of the dark deed; only insane mirth.
But a second’s hesitation before the act-
Too late for love inside to react
---
Review! I command it.
