Halloween is approaching, and I'm psyched! Well, I'm always in the mood for Halloween. Inspiring either way, so here's a quick sketch of Monty: Nice and feral ;D. Drawn without any reference, and my third or fourth attempt at Monty, I think. So be nice. More to come during the week, time permitting. Tomorrow: Shego.

That's awesome! He looks more happy and adorable than scary to me, but maybe he likes being a zombie. I love that huge grin and the wide, empty eyes. The background really puts the final touch on this one.
Reference or not, I like the way you drew him. You have all the details right, but at the same time it's done in an unique style instead of re-creating how he was in the series. It somehow works in a pic like this.

Thanks Naomi! ;D I may have been influenced by the wee lil' trademark monkey from the Gorillaz-videos, hence possible cuteness. I hope to some day be able to mirror the style completely, before I go off adapting it and making it my own, but my usual style lends itself well to horror I think, so for Halloween all bets are off! I've had today's pic on my computer for a while, but thought it too violent to show it here. The blood is a bit much, and the original is on a computer that came down with a severe case of E-herpes, so fixing it would be a chore. Halloween gives me the excuse I needed. I tried to do a lot in this picture, and in the end it just got awfully crowded. Originally Shego was surrounded by a horribly drawn glowing green mist, the spots (or searchlights? dunno) had visible lightbeams, and the floor should be spotted with blood, which in turn should be pitch black outside the light from the spots. Hence the two lightsources... But it just became a mess. Not overly happy with my choice of floor texture either, but no use complaining now. Man, I can't wait to get my hands on my new tablet! Tomorrow: ...not sure. We'll see.

That Shego pic is awesome. Do you have a story for what happened?
Whose blood is on her hands? I just noticed Drakken's arm in the background...

Yes I do, but the point of the scene is the ambiguity of it, as it will lead to a plot-convenient misunderstanding moments later. So for now I prefer to keep people guessing. ;D
Is Drakken dead, unconscious, or trapped? Did she do it, or is she protecting him? Or maybe there's a third option? None of the people in the room (however many there may be) fully understands what has happened there. I'd love to hear some theories. ;D
Hint: the clue is in the title.

1st- So strangely cute in a morbid way! (Cute? How about scheduling that psychiatrist appointment?)2nd- ...Erm, not so cute. Although very well drawn. Shego's left foot seems a bit off, but that's the only flaw I can find. (CoughOCDcough) She's very scary. Did she off Drakken or is she about to get back at the murderers? I can just see how they'd use this if it was PG-rated and in an episode: You see the scene while creepy music plays. Then, Drakken: Shego, get me out of here! Shego: (snaps out of it) Huh-what? Oh, sorry, Dr. D. (pulls him out) Drakken: (wipes self off) Never make tomato soup again. Shego: Well, you should have made the lair explosive proof. Drakken: But then Possible and the buffoon couldn't blow it up every time! ;D

I thought the Shego one was excellent... and then I saw Drakken's dead arm. I'm confused. Did she do that, or someone else and she wants revenge? I'm really hoping its that last option.
But it's still wonderful.

Thanks everybody! ;D Don't worry if you think Monty's cute, he's supposed to be sort of a mix between a feral kitten and a were-monkey-man in the early stages of turning. I think. I don't always know. And Shego can't help being badass*, which is why she's so much fun to draw. ;D "Cooking With Plasma" would be an awesome show! "Five second meals for the villainess on the go!" ;D I'd pay to see that! I think you're right about the foot Donteatacowman, but it's not the only flaw in the picture, trust me. It was a quick, small sketch that I got intrigued by and spent far too long coloring (I'm not used to coloring on computers at all (cursing ensued)), so some early mistakes were bound to carry over. I'm confused. Did she do that, or someone else and she wants revenge? It's neither. *I'm not familiar with the rules about cursing in this board... Mind you, I'm holding way back.

Ooo, controversial! He's not dead though, but he will be soon if the fire goes unchecked. But close enough: it's an experiment gone horribly awry! Drakken decides one day to determine the source and nature of Shegos powers. His convoluted attempt at science causes Shego to lose control of them, the floodgates open and the surge of power lays waste to the lair. Drakken survives through sheer dumb luck, but he's hurting. When Shego finally regains control, she too will think he's dead and blame herself. From there the story could go in several different directions; I haven't decided... The blood is her own. Its coming from her left palm, and the injury was caused when she forcefully removed a piece of medical equipment. That's the excuse I came up with anyway, and I'm sticking to it.

Then could you please make an appointment for me as well? Because I think it's cute as well XD The second one is just awesome, and I really like the story behind it. Ouch, poor Dr. D

Very good short story.
