Gotta love those imaginative titles, eh? ;P Merry Christmas! "No Handlebars" by The Flowbots "Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance KiM Possible (C) Disney As always, the high-def version is on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=idw69dlyOZcDownloadable version: www.mediafire.com/?mm9myg5xajxI don't quite know what inspired this one; I was listening to it on the bus, and scenes from KP suddenly popped into the lyrics. That, and the plinking opening chords kinda reminded me of Ron's "childlike wonder." This was probably one of my most difficult videos in terms of digging up images, not to mention Adobe Premiere was a pain in the butt when it finally came time to render into MPEG. Enjoy, and please review!

Genius editing, love the song, and a fasinating take on the characters (Kim is scary when she's power mad )! Thanks! The things Kim could do with her influence if she tried.... and no one would question her. "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." ~C.S. Lewis Wade's kinda scary too. ("....My reach / is global!") --------- I'd originally pashawed this song and turned the radio dial whenever it came on, since I thought I couldn't stand that opening plinking and the maudlin lyrics about bicycle-riding..... Then I saw this picture. So I decided to give the song a try. Once I gritted my teeth through the opener, I discovered the song packed a whallop.

When it started playing on my radio station. I'd often change it before I cold hear the whole song, pushing it aside as just another rap song. Once I really gave the song a listen, I found myself in love with the astounding lyrics and different variations of intruments. It's quite a masterpiece in its own right.

Update: I've replaced the Filedropper high-def download (568 MB) with one hosted by MediaFire (58 MB) since I was notified that non-premium Filedropper members are restricted to a 35-45kb/sec download limit.

Thanks! It was pretty difficult to find stuff for all of it, though. ---- Fun tidbit: At 1:30, I have the multi-pane effect that Twila helped me figure out. Once I got it working, I started fiddling with the effects, I stumbled upon "Find Edges." It looked cool, so I proceeded to apply it to Kim and Drakken, using the "invert" option to switch the coloring from white to black. I thought it made an interesting statement: Kim is in the white, Drakken in the black, both firmly set into their roles as "good" and "evil." Hench is in full-color because he straddles the line between black and white - he sells the weaponry, but doesn't do the crimes; he makes money off villains but is willing to work with the heroes. In the end, though, the effect made the section too busy and I removed it in favor of full-color for each character.
