I told someone that I would gladly post this here on RS, so here it is and it seemed some are even waiting for it. Miley Cyrus to leave Hannah Montana, or is it the other way around It seems that today it was announced that Miley Cyrus will stop playing Hannah Montana. DC will start shooting the new season in a few weeks but does not know if it will finish the season, I am sure it will, but I’m guessing the last day of shooting or anything decided by Disney for her will coincide with Miley’s eighteenth birthday, the day her contract becomes null and voided. The thing that is being asked is how will this effect Kim Possible and the Fight For Five? It won’t. The ending of Hanna is more over a contract dispute (think Ms. Duff) that while a child miss Cyrus signed a contract that was highly favorable to Disney, and now that she has become an adult she has the right to renegotiation or to walkaway without penalty. As from the stories with Ms. Duff we know that Disney is enormously cheap with there cast members and do not want to start the precedent of paying and actor what they’re worth. Michael Eisner once said he wished he had more Kim Possible’s whit no real mother instead of a studio mother / manager who makes life difficult on the set with unreasonable demands. I have to add this so I can make a few people happy and they can start there bickering. How does this effect Kim Possible, there are a few ways this can be seen as helpful. One is that with the lost of a notable live show that had fame and that what DC has left, well really leaves much to be desired so they may begin once again to return to there roots of making animated shows. Two, if this is the case, it is easier to reset an established series than to try and create one from scratch. As for the rest. . . I’m tried and am going to sleep.

Well that does seem to be the norm for Disney, grab a talent (or so called) around the age of 12, they exploit them till they’re worthless or drop them when they turn 18 unless they’re willing to play ball and sign there life away to the mouse.

Well, personally, I see it as the end of an era for Disney when Hannah goes. KP left quite a void in Disney after her show ended (well, that's what I think anyway). If we're lucky, we can convince Disney to fill the void caused by Miley with a return from KP.

I've said elsewhere that Miley is pretty much this generation's Beatles and for many of the same reasons. I've forseen this coming for some time. Her father is THE Billy Cyrus, an affirmed music industry insider, so I can't believe for a second that she can't get out of her contract if she so chooses. The question is, can she make it on her own? It would be sad to see yet another poor kid be devoured by the corporate machinery. As for whether it would affect KP, I'm sorry to say I doubt it. Hollywood is full of desperate young people looking to become the next Miley only better. One need only look at the cast of HSM to see a litany of them. They'd have to do a bunch more singing sitcoms and watch them fall flat on their faces before they started to look to other properties to fill out the lineup. It's sad, but they think Kim is passe.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/IdolSingerAnd I quote: As far as the whole FFF hoopla, I really doubt this will mean anything. Disney has ended popular live action shows before. Lizzie Mcguire, That's so Raven, Even Stevens, ect. only to replace them with another show that becomes just as popular or, so it seems at times, more popular and then becomes hated by internet people (read: butthurt fans of the replaced show). In addition, they have Jonas to pick up the slack and keep their target demographic entertained. As a side note, with the increase in popularity in ''vampires'' within their target audience brought on by Twilight (or rather, the sparkly and cruel bastardizations of a once great monster), who else is just waiting for Disney to create a vampire themed series? But back on topic, no, this won't mean anything for the FFF or any other animation enthusiast group because it's not something Disney hasn't dealt with before.

Would NOT be the least bit surprised. That or one with werewolves (or, hell, the two combined) since that's been picking up some popularity as well. I figure they'll do at least something with it.

Disney is already prepping a new girl in my opinion to replace Miley as they did with Hilary Duff and Lizzie McGuire, Miley in my opinion was the replace for Hilary and Selena Marie Gomez is the replacement for Miley and the cycle will continue until there's a market for these kind of shows as Disney has no imagination left that died out with the late great Walt Disney himself.

But... there already is a market for these shows! A thriving one, too if their success says anything! The Idol singer, as I mentioned previously, is an insanely popular phenomenon!

They had a special with Vampires and Werewolves on Wizards, maybe that was a test to see if it could function for a separate show... Selena's not going to be queen....her show is ending within the next year, making it hard for her to be queen as she will probably move on from Disney...therefore Disney is probably going to replace Miley with Demi Lovato

I still see Selena as the next Miley as where is Selena going to go to useless she goes to Nick. I think Disney will seriously think about converting Selena to the next Miley.

she as been reported to looking to going to college after Wizards, and shes recently been in more talks of movies...she is going to be leaving Disney probably once Wizards ends, and Disney hasn't renewed the show yet when it probably would have already.
