You do? Great! there's still some crazy people in this forum... but that's not my point - Point is: IE 9, The latest version of everyone's favourite web browser Is NOT going to work on Windows XP. XP's had it's time in the Limelight, and it'll eventually end up no longer being updated like Previous Windows OSes. I guess now's probably the time to upgrade at least to Vista (*shudder*) or something...

XP apparently has "Extended Support period until April 8, 2014" (which I found from Wikipedia). I certainly won't be jumping ship for a few years.
Personally, I'm really happy with I.E. 7 and haven't bothered to get I.E. 8.

*still uses XP.... but doesn't give a rat's undercarriage about any browser in particular, just so long as said browser doesn't mind the downloading of copious amounts of animal, scat, and midget p0rn*
