I'd say that a heat sink over the CPU might alleviate that issue Even a fan blowing on it would help LOL

With the recent news of BluRay outselling 2:1, this is interesting... Could tip the balance a bit. Personally I'm just interested to see what Sony would do if BluRay fails

Meh, ads in videos are common for me.. An example is Spikedhumor.com .. there are always Ads playing before the video starts, but it doesn't bother me at all. Unless the Ads are longer than the video itself ...
