Well, here it is, who plays Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, and possibly will play Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII?
I play it, its a great game, the graphics sends Rune scape to hell. Great easy-to-learn controls, excelent gameplay, you name it.
Only thing lacking to me is the lack of choosing secondary weapons like bombs, Rockets, and Torpedoes.

I played the demo on Xbox Marketplace and it wasn't really my type of game. I like Flying games with Jets and modern aircraft.

I played it recently. It's a good game... but "Secret Weapons Over Normandy" was a better game. The gameplay is fun. Flying around, bombarding... but it's too arcade-ish and unrealistic. In SWON, your have to land to refill your load (bombs/rockets), but in BA, it will automatically refill it for you. Which is sad, because I would love to land on an airfield... you only land like twice in the game, no more. The story is also good and kinda dramatic, but doesn't go deep into the true story of the Blazing Angels. We never get to see any of the Angel's faces except for the Box Art. We don't know how their bond as brothers became stronger or know any of the Angel's backgrounds, unlike SWON where it actually dwells into the background story. It just tells a story of 4 great pilots covering each other backs and are best of friends. Which is a good plot line, but can be improve much more. Another flaw is the lack of customisation. In the "Instant action" mode or Arcade battles, you just pick a plane and fly the exact same thing over and over again - same terrain, same enemy planes, same weapons (though can be upgraded). In SWON, you can choose all this to your likeness and create your own battle. However, the greatest point of the game is that it is extremely fun. It has the "FYF" factor - Fun yet Frustrating. There are some parts where you feel invincible and you could take down the entire Luftwaffe/Japanese Navy by yourself, other times, you feel vulnerable with everyone itching to take you down (be it land or ground) and no one wants to pick off the other planes .. everyone just targets you. If it wasn't for the Command System, I would have to pull Split-S and many other stunts more than just once or twice. Controls are okay. Takes some getting used to. At first, flying while keeping your eye on your target may seem hard, especially when you're trying to balance your plane. Or dogfighting with an Ace who keeps zipping past you. It takes some getting used to. Once you get the Controls down, you will rock the skies ... I recommend using a Gamepad for flying ... using a Keyboard and Mouse is just plain awkward. The Camera system blends well with the controls. It is a heck alot easier to spot your targets with it, unlike SWON where you would have to follow the arrow and fly the plane as if it was real, and if your boggie slipped past your tail, you wouldn't notice it... And lastly, the Graphics are just awesome. You can actually see every single small detail of the battlefield. Be it the bombings of London, or Battle in Paris... The smoke shaders are just beautiful. They can stretch out to the sky endlessly like how it would have happen in the real war. And they detailed the planes well too, which is awesome. I might get it's sequel .. but I hope they improve on most of these things so it would be another rocking arcade-style WW2 fighter game. I really enjoyed the game. The only thing I have yet to explore is the Multiplayer ... I can't find any servers to play on or anyone to play with ..
