I am having trouble using Windows Media Player whatsoever. It seems that Windows Media Player cannot work on any accounts except Administrator accounts. If I can have any help with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't see why it shouldn't work... what does it do?

Every time I open it it up, it keeps wanting to install itself. Even after doing this a million times, it just goes back to that installation screen.

Strange, I've never heard of that before... I have no idea. Wonder if anybody else has ideas

Log in as admin, and change permissions to allow complete access to it by all accounts on the computer. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure without being there to tinker around.

Hmm, try downloading the installer from Microsoft directly (I will provide a link if asked) and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, I would try it on another account as it could be preferences not set correctly.

I am re-downloading the Media Player now. Hopefully it will work. Also, I already tried the preferences suggestion, it didn't work. EDIT: I cannot re-install it right now, I have to go on my mom's account later(when she is in a better mood).
