I don’t know if anyone else has thought of this, but it just occurred to me over the weekend as a natural crossover for KP. Of course, such a crossover would require KP, as the Beatrice Kiddo, actually killing people. However, I think it could be played off in a similar fashion as Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol where the cartoon characters are actually playing scripted roles. Kim Possible would not really be “the Bride” but she would be playing her … in much the same way, all her victims would be “playing” dead.
In any case, what really got me thinking along these lines was the possible casting for such a crossover.
Kim Possible …. The Bride (Beatrice Kiddo)
Bill … Dr. Drakken – This should make drakkenlover happy, and the age difference is just about right. David Carradine is forty-four years older than Uma Thurman
Vernita Green …. Bonnie Rockwaller – For everyone who ever wanted to see KP “kick Bonnie biscuit.”
O-Ren-Ishii … Monkey-Fist – I had some problems with this one. I had originally cast Yori, but had second thoughts because other than the fact she is Japanese there is no real reason to put her in this role. Monkey-Fist is a better fit because his monkey ninjas can easily stand in for the Crazy 88. Furthermore, O-Ren’s mixed heritage is a cause of controversy to her fellow crime bosses. What could be a more outrage mixed heritage for a Tokyo crime syndicate leader than an English lord who has been genetically manipulated into a simian-mutant?
Gogo Yubari … Yori – I decided to place Yori here. Seemed more appropriate somehow, and I think it would be interesting to see her play an insane villain.
Sofie Fatale … Adrena-Lynn -- As a villain she just annoys me, so I figured a less-than-honorable fate—wiggling on the dance floor in cartoonish angush for forty-some-odd minutes--suits her.
Hattori Hanzo … Sensei – I know he looks more like Pai Mei, but I have someone even better planned for him. I figured since he was the keeper of the Lotus Blade, he might be able to fashion KP a pretty lethal samurai sword … or, even better, the Lotus Blade could “play” the Hanzo sword.
Budd … Motor Ed – As Drakken’s cousin, he is a natural to play Bill’s brother. Besides, can’t you see Motor Ed living in a trailer outside of El Paso?
Elle Driver … Shego – Is there any question that this is who Shego should play. Furthermore, I think an eye patch would definitely suit Shego’s look just fine.
Esteban Vihaio … SSS – Only character with the right age to be Drakken’s mentor. However, not an idle choice either. Ricardo Montalban has just the right rich voice for this colorful, if somewhat minor, character.
Tommy Plympton/Pai Mei … Ron Stoppable – This is the real clincher for me. Give Ron a double role! Not only does he play “the Bride’s” well-meaning yet hopelessly over-his head fiancé, but he also plays her ruthless tutor. The image of Ron floating above Kim as she faced the beater peril in “Two to Tutor” served as my main inspiration. What could be more hilarious than Ron dressed as Pai Mei and being able to outmaneuver Kim’s every move? Of course, Rufus could also work here, but I still like the idea of Ron much better. Maybe Rufus could be an assistant to Pai Mei.
B.B. Kiddo …. Rufus/pre-school Kim via ASIT -- Not sure with this one. Rufus would be hilarious but, outside of the shock humor, he does not fit here. Pre-school Kim (maybe with bluish skin) would be more appropriate, but having a younger version of yourself play your daughter—even in fan-fiction/art is a little too weird. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be cool.
The downside to all this is that I cannot draw for ANYTHING! The last things I successfully drew were Star Wars battles when I should have been watching the Martin Luther filmstrip at my Lutheran elementary school back in the late seventies. I tried drawing a Star Destroyer the other day, and it STILL looks like a dorito chip.
This is just an idea to see what others thought and to hopefully give inspiration.
The image of Kim in the yellow motorcycle suit with lotus blade at the ready in the Blue Leaves standoff with hordes of ninja monkeys is just a great image.
