Bah, they think they can get away with that stuff because they know it's fan art. If someone tries to get them in trouble, they can just point the finger back and say, well you weren't supposed to draw it in the first place!

Anyone inform Disney about this? I don't know if they would care (they might) but the threat of legal action against the site/poster might get this to stop. After all a few ticked off fans doesn't scare anyone as much as a couple of bored and highly paid lawyers. Last I check KP is copyrighted so it's not like Disney would have a hard time getting some money out them anyway. Though I still think they'd probably not care about something this small but you never know.

I have contacted the company directly in tandem with Rich. Both of us were told that Rich would have to file certain papers with them for them to stop it. It equates to a great deal of paperwork. They also requires everything to be faxed not emailed so that would require Rich or I to make a transcontenintal phone call that would last several minutes just to send the stuff in. Also Rich and I are not too worried about it. I did some research and only residents of New Zeland may be members and buy/sell on the site. It sucks all around but not thing we can do other than complain. Please do if you want to. At least they will know that we are keeping watch. Believe me, Rich appreciates the support.

I've never had my art stolen before and if it did happen to me, I wouldn't know how to react.  Most likely I'll just let it go. Just as long as the Kp fandom knows that the drawings were by me  |
