Recently I've come across some of Stephanie Buth's fan art, and have started to wonder whatever happened to her.
For those of you who don't know, Stephanie was a Kim Possible fan artist whose peak was ca. 2003-2004--in fact, she might have been the most highly respected fan artist of the time (for a while there was even a forum on yahoo for discussing her art).
Hers was the original poster image for the "Save Kim Possible" movement:

Her drawings were part of the inspiration behind the one fanfiction I wrote:

(She based the costumes from the KP game, "Card Clash.")
Her early work is posted at Side7. For example:

Later, she posted her drawings on deviantArt:

www.deviantart.com/deviation/9707208/?qo=50&q=by%3Amentalfloss&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps

www.deviantart.com/deviation/9018895/?qo=101&q=by%3Amentalfloss&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps
www.deviantart.com/deviation/9021038/?qo=63&q=by%3Amentalfloss&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps
Anyway, for a couple of years she turned to drawing other things, but then about a year ago she made a brief comeback and posted a few Kim Possible-related drawings on deviantArt. When I last had contact with her around June 2006, she was set to draw me a commissioned KP picture.
Then suddenly last summer she wrote a horrible, angsty journal on her deviantArt page. She deleted that journal a few days later, and has since vanished from the Internet.
