Lack of art.
School starting. A lot of folks are back to school now and have less time to draw.
Show ending. Well, maybe yes and maybe no. There are plenty of areas to grow, think, and be artistic. The two of them in college, D/S, and you don't have to stick to canon. If you want lots of hits, yeah maybe stay with K/R, but it you want to draw, draw what you want.
I remember somethings slowing down after STD. I am not worried. Maybe some people have just migrated from the show. It's just natural.
However there is still some good art being produced. Just hang in there with everyone and let's see what happens in the future.

some people say K/R is canon so it's boring to draw them together. First thing that came to my mind...and I can't explain why. It's like when I answered yvs about the lack of K/R comics when there were some KiGo ones. I think many fans feel like there's no more need to "cheer" for the pairing with fanarts and stuff because now it is canon. Besides, it becomes just "more of the same", consequently becoming boring. Conclusion: It's overrated.

Never known K/R to be over rated or boring. I can say the same about KIGO. The same storylines are there that were there months ago, yet KIGO art and stories are still being produced. Is KIGO over rated and boring. No, not my taste, but it's not boring.
There are many ways to continue art. So they are together, so what. They were together after STD and the art dropped off for a bit then came right back. Now they are off to college, after college, careers, jobs, family. There are thousands of possibilities for art. Does the relationship hit hard times? Never knew one that didn't. Maybe some are stuck for ideas. No big deal.
Art and fiction come and go in cycles. Sometimes there are waves upon waves of both. Then every thing falls off for awhile. No big deal. Give everyone sometime and there will be more pics coming.

I was just curious. I have had this question for a while. I appreciate all answers that have been given. I think the true test where the fandom will be will come about 3-4 months from now. The show would have been over for about 5 months so i will be interested to see how much fanfiction and fanart will be released compared to whats released now. Wll it be the same or less.

Well you also have to take into consideration that artists who produce a non K/R shippy pic contribute dozens, if not hundreds, of pictures to their non K/R ship. This may sway stuff a little. It's likely that there are more K/R artists, but not as much K/R art.

OK, so if K/R being canon is what caused less fan art, then does that mean that, in Code Lyoko, Ulrich and Yumi's "just friends and that's all" crap might actually be helping the U/Y shippage?

Oh, there will definitely be more Not just from me, but from everyone. Without it being a RUNNING series, it may not be quite as frequent. But even with the series over, I've rarely seen the fanfiction.net Kim Possible section so active. People are cranking out stories left and right, so it's not going away just yet. And where there's stories, there's art to go with them.

I also have at least three or four oneshots or short stories. And not that I am diving into the world of art, I have a lot of ideas on what to create. Slick. I know what you mean about the KP art at DA. There is very little KR art going on. I am trying to put some up but I am only one person and I am not that good. Here hoping for more KR at DA. The Captain Yeah i mean basically it's not that i want to beg people for it. It's there time and energy. It's not those artists responsibility to make up for my inability to draw stick figures. lol. I;m just wondering why compared to others it seems so few. Oh i think you are good captain. Your manips are some of the best manips i have seen. I don't think i have seen any of art from you that wasnt a manip though. It can't be worse than how i draw. lol.

And not only that - but look for periodic resurgences of KP fanfics and fanart for when Disney inc. and the KP creator crew finally get around to DVD boxed sets, and the inevitable made-for-DVD releases.... Just a guess, but I somehow get the feeling the creators aren't 'done' with KP either - they just need a break to work on other stuff perhaps, but they'll be back....

Sometimes real life comes crashing in. After making a go of it with my own business, I finally had to throw in the towel and once again become an employee. Part of that meant working some really horrible hours (I'm scheduled 10pm - 6am and rarely get off at that time) Let me tell you, that really took the wind out of my sails concerning art and writing. I'm lucky to produce one chapter/work of art a week now, and most of it doesn't get published on DA any more.

If I only had a scanner, I can really post some some K/R here. Just run out and get one at your local computer store then; They really aren't all that expensive. A decent flatbed scanner can be had for around a hundred dollars.

You might want to do a search for just "Kim Ron" and not their last names, just to see what you get.
