Seriously this is something i have still yet to understand. I go to da almost every day and i hardly ever see any new K/R art. I mean i search Kim Possible/Ron Stoppable because i get stuff i don't want to see if i just type one of there names.
I just wish more people would do K/R. Don't reply to this with "Why don't you make you own art" because this is just a question. I'm not saying "people better do K/R or else". Don't take this thread the wrong way. I am curious why some of you think theres such a lack of K/R art.

Actually, I think the series already have a lot of K/R which is why most people do not do it and it does speak very well if it just a picture alone.
I am all over her brothers though.

Also you might want to try a search for both names without the slash. You might find more results that way.

I type it Kim Possible Ron Stoppable and i also try Ron Stoppable Kim Possible. It's just an interesting question to me. I here some people say K/R is canon so it's boring to draw them together. I did not understand that reasoning and still don't. I'm just curious to see others thoughts. If there happens to be a few more peices of art done then great.

I don't draw K/R because I can't draw Ron all that well. ;D But if I could I may draw them on occasion. My personal opinion, I don't like to draw the good guys (unless the good guys are animals then it's okay cause I draw them better than people)-villains are much more fun and interesting to draw (and the occasional self insertion from my rabid fangirl side *SQUEEE*). That's all I got to say about that though I don't know if it helped or crippled the case.

He said there was a lack of new art; not art in general.

Whenever I type in "Kim and Ron" there's tons of stuff about them, but its all pretty much years old -.- I would totally draw more K/R if I could, but that website I made video drawings on had an error.. =( I do draw tons of K/R, I just wish this stupid computer would let me upload it!

I have some pictures of Kim and Ron I drew in my style I could show you, that has a little K/R in it, if you want I could PM you... I haven't posted any Kim Possible stuff in a long time, and I've been lazy, but I'll be more than happy to send you my photobucket links.

I see almost 80% (or more)fan videos to be K/R so its kind of balancing maybe because there aint so much fan art of it ?

K/R got old. They're together now, so it doesn't seem to be fun to draw them anymore. And it appears that the number of fanatic K/R shippers went down with the couple becoming canon. So there's only few new stuff.

Because K/R is overdone. I draw K/R if I want massive favorites- I draw something else if I'm actually feeling creative- lol.

Actually ... I hadn't noticed any lack of K/R pics.
One factor I have noticed in all my web searching ... is that there never seems to be enough of the thing I'm looking for. Which is just a perception thing. So that may be a factor.
Personally, I prefer just Kim by herself. So that's the type of pic's it seems to me there aren't enough of.
There are any number of relationships to be explored amongst the many characters populating the KP-verse ... so that's another factor as well.
There may well be a drop off in total KP-verse pics though. With the series having ended twice ... each time some people who were active while the series was ... went on to other things once it wasn't.
*shrug*

I don't want to see any of us 5 leave.

Well, thinking about it, there are several possible reasons going around that could explain the downturn of new K/R art. Some already been mention. - K/R is canon and is overdone. This seems to have some merit. Checking out the 'Naruto' fandom, I saw just how excited the shippers are to draw their pairings, given the pairings are fun to imagine getting together in canon, etc. It was the same with K/R before "StD" where I saw many new K/R art popping out. It kept pace up until sometime in the 4th season when the number of new K/R art dropped. So once a pairing becomes canon, it slowly looses some appeal, given it's no longer excited to some fans. The excitement comes with imagining the possibilities of pairings that are not canon. - Bad timing to end the series. I noticed just how bad it was to end the series right before the start of the new season of prime time and other fandom shows. Avatar started soon. Naruto is still going full force. Harry Potter's last book came out a few months ago. And to top it off, the new season for prime time has started, like shows as Heroes. Plus, to be honest, the KP series ended not on an excited note compared to "StD" with the K/R kiss. After "StD", the fanart were pouring in. I don't see the same after "Graduation". So with the KP show ended and these other shows coming in, I'm not surprise if some fan artists' interest turn to other shows. - (Bleep) Hell! I'm starting school! Etc. (clears throat) We should all know there would be drop in art and fics once the summer is over and everyone goes back to school and work. I really am not surprise. So I think it's many factors being in play here for the drop in new K/R fan art. As for the videos, it's something that I noticed more and more people are getting into in the last few years with new technology that makes recording TV shows onto computer harddrives easier. With faster PCs, it doesn't take much for anyone to put together a video from the recorded episodes already on the computer. It's just that like fanfiction, there are the crappy ones put together on a dime and those which show how much time and affort the person put in making a great vid.
