For my sake, I don't get a real crush on a guy unless I'm friends with him. I have to know a person somewhat before my heart gets involved. Me too... You know, except with girls. XD Nice save.

Let's just say Crazy has had had experiences with the ladies this year, really bad year for me, my GF dumped me and went out with a guy like five years oldr than me! and it isn't normal, not at my age at least...

The guy I like, I've known I like him ever since soon after we met. We're good friends now, (he doesn't know my feelings for him), but my point is that it didn't start from a long-lasting friendship and then turn into a crush, it started as a crush after spending time with him for a few days. That's the way it tends to be with me. If I'm not attracted to someone from fairly early on, I'm unlikely to ever be attracted to them. But it's not love at first sight either - it tends to take at least a few days before I realise I like someone in that way.
That's not to say it can't be different for others though!

At the moment I'm in a situation that's kind of the opposite from yours Zoza. I've been friends with this one guy for a while. I really respect him and think he's funny and generally fun to be around. One Sunday I realized that I kind of stuck around him more than a lot of my other friends... and I had a tendency to just look at him out of all the other people in the Sunday morning praise band. Then it kind of dawned on me that I'd been getting sweet on him over the past month.

Oooh, PK, I really like that "realistic" drawing of Kim and Ron in your current signature. That's the best translation of their cartoon images toward realism I've ever seen.

The cropped signature version is great, but click her link and check out the whole picture. It's even better. That's how Kim and Ron really look!

Just as your siggy is a realiztic depiction of Kim and Ron, your relationship with your guy friend you talked about is a realiztic depiction of Kim and Ron's. That has happened to me a few times. Hope it works out for you two. BTW: I've noticed that a lot of girls seem to act like the fact that they're dating someone is need-to-know-classified. Does that just happen to me? Does it annoy anyone else? Is it a hint? Should I stop asking questions?

Hope it works out for you two. Funny you should make that comparison since our respective hair colours are actually quite similar to the two (a fact I found amusing after I got into KP). However, he's going into the Peace Corp and will be moving to Zambia soon. So, sadly, I think all chances of anything working are pretty slim. I'm not going to say anything because it will probably just open an unnecessary can of worms. I haven't noticed this... most of the girls I'm friends with talk about their boyfriends quite frequently and I'm sure I'd do the same if I had a boyfriend. P.S. Thanks for recommending the link click monet. ^_^

wow is a really good series of posts i really fight crying right now. in my life there have been just three people i have had feelings for. they were Tabitha, Maxine, and April. Tabitha was a red Head i knew from 6th grade we became very close and i considered her my best friend when we were in the tenth grade. i told her i like her one day in one of our classes in 11th grade but she told me she was already taken. we did dance at the military ball (JR OTC) and at the junior/senior prom that year but she took her boyfriend with her so i didn't get to spent a lot of time with her at the functions. i never got another chance for she moved away at the start of my senior year i don't know how she is doing or if she happy but i hope she is. Maxine i knew from the 9th grade and grew close to her too but not as close as Tabitha. she was a blond who i grew to like as the end of my junior year approached. i wrote a letter to her (fear of total flame out) expressing my feelings for her. she told me she just didn't like me that way. we remained friends but she supposed to have gotten married i don't really know now that i am i college i hope she happy also. April i pretty much grew up with her as my mom would baby sit for her when we were little like about two or three. she was a brunette who was very independent. i went to school with her much of my life but it was until a few weeks before graduation i realized my feeling for her. i wrote her a letter to but didn't get and answer back i moved after graduation and haven't seen her since. these are the people who i have had feeling for and i hate the friend zone it's been nothing but pure heart ache so far but I'm too shy to try anything else.

You're best friend didn't tell you that she had a boyfriend? That's just wrong.

That depends... not everyone has a very close girl/boy friend but every time I see a girl/boy are bestfriend (not to be rude or anything I'm sorry for the people who will be affected in what I say) the boy is well... you know. But I know that not everybody coz friendship is always judge on how long you have been friends. I have a same friend that has a K/R situation. After 13 years, they finally realize it that they are meant for each other. So, it really depends for that person.

my friendship with her was close but not really close enough to share each other secrets be cause we just saw each other in school also my personality doesn't really allow me to show my emotions. so people don't really confide in me either not that i can't keep secrets but i just not emotionally acceptable to thing like that.
