Longer than 16 years...But they weren't married in the early 80's...
Which are all obvious comments so I'm no help really. ;D

Well, if Kim say is 17 in "STD", her 'rents I guess are in their early or mid 40's. They obvious didn't have Kim when they were teens, and given they both have doctor degrees, I guess they didn't have Kim until after they earned their degrees. So I say roughly 18 years would do for how long they are married. Mmmmm... Mr. Possible is one lucky guy to have a wife who looks that hot in her mid 40's. ;D

Check Attack Of The Killer Bebes.
Mr. Possible tells Kim the story of how he was in college and Drew Lipski was going to get him and his possee some dates. Later Mrs. Possible remembers Drew Lipski, but doesn't act like she "really" knew him all that well. Mr. and Mrs. Possible either married late in their college years, or shortly thereafter.

Well, do the math. Most people are 18 when the graduate high school, some 17. That would make 22 for a college graduate, 26 for an MD, and probably also for a PhD. Both Possibles are geniuses (though apparently not of Wade's caliber. They could have been younger.
Becoming a brain surgeon takes more training than becoming a rocket scientist. Mrs. Dr. P. might be 30 before actually doing operations. But her lengthy training could have been interrupted by the marriage and a pregnancy or two. She's a brain surgeon while Kim's in high school. They unfortunately don't indicate what her status is when we see Kim entering pre-K.
So if they were "college students" (as opposed to a graduate student and a medical student) in the early 1980s, one would guess by 2004 they'd be at least 40. If Kim was 17 then, she'd be born in 1987, and the tweebs in 1992. I know the tweebs are said to be 10 at the start of season one, but if they're not 12 by "So the Drama" (birthday in midwinter), Kim's mom is seen pregnant a year too early in "A Sitch in Time."
So if we say Kim's parents were born in 1961, which would make them 43, and they would have had Kim when they were 24. Apparently Kim's mom spent her second or third year of medical school pregnant with Kim, and might have just started as a resident surgeon while pregnant with tweebs. Unless they graduated everything way early, and there's no indication that Mr. Dr. P is younger than Ramesh, Chen, and Lipsky, then they got married while their education was still happening.
Or, alternatively, if they're actually closer to 50, this stops being a problem, but there's the reference in "Killer Bebes" to Dad being in college during the eighties. Could he have meant graduate school?
And, by the way, I know a lot of women over fifty (including my own, who turns 50 this Saturday) who are still major babes. This doesn't count women like Cher or Goldie Hawn, who are gradually becoming revealed as the immortal elvenkind who secretly live among us, spicing up our magazines with their exploits and making occasional B movies.

I'm all for people getting married in colledge. I thought I'd wait until after finishing my edducation to get married. Now, I think whoever thought it was a good idea is a moron. It's borring. And wouldn't it be more relaxing to come home to your spouse after a hard test?

No one is a moron, and we shouldn't go around saying people are. It's possible (no pun intended. ) that Mr. and Mrs. Possible gotten married after they graduated, anymore than it's possible they gotten married during college/university.

If you mean graduated with bachelor's degrees, yes, but either they must have gotten married and had Kim during medical school/grad school, or they're quite a few years older than early 40s.
