Okay, as most of you know, I really don't ship any pairing and I was just curious to know if there is anyone on this message board that didn't as well.
Although I really doubt it ;D

I'm anti-shipping only because I think the term "ship" in the context used on the Internet for relationship plugging is retarded.

I think the term "ship" in the context used on the Internet for relationship plugging is retarded. Its not retarded. Its internet slang. But I wouldn't use the term "ship" in real life... only because I HAVE used it... and nobody knew what I was talking about. I don't ship Drakken and Kim. Everything else I can get on the ship, and practically ship any pairing that is reasonable, for example, Ron and Bonnie... thats a perfectly normal pairing.

I agree. Im not a big fan of the shipper ways. It just dosent seem right to me. Granted some of the stuff can be very funny but a lot of the sex jokes and perverted messages are crossing over the line in my eyes.

I only "ship" (God I hate that word) Kim/Ron. And i only do that because that is how StD ended. So I therefore pick up their slack, so to speak.

I am a romantic at heart. I love KP for the most part becuase of the relationship between Kim and Ron. If I would have had my rathers they would have gotten together sooner in the series.
On a side note. I first heard the term "shipper/ship/shippy" when I became active in the Farscape fandom. I finally had to ask a friend in the community what it meant becuase I kept thinking it had something to do with the spaceships on the show. DOH!

Romance is outside my envelope, so the relationship angle is only of tangential interest. A remark on the chat awhile back largely informs my approach to this: [Mark] Never look to Bob and I for tidy logic. We're comedy guys. I watch the show mostly for the humor, relationships are aren't necessary to my enjoyment.

So what's a shipper like me doing here? Oh, I don't know. Curiosity? What? There's still anti-shippers around? Didn't the end of "So the Drama" cause everyone who saw it to coze up with a partner, and now we're all living happily ever after? No, not really?
Seriously, this thread has attracted a variety of viewpoints, and there are some I can agree with.
Kim and Ron: they're shipped. Deal with it. The details of their lives revealed on the show made it all but inevitable.
Drakken and Shego: the true nature of the relationship between these shadowy people is even more shadowy. They act like a couple who are so used to being married they stay that way, even though they don't seem to get along that well, and don't seem totally faithful to each other either. Give em a break, they're evil!
Kim and Shego: I'll admit they've got that Amazon warrior thing in common, but they hate each other, and will continue to do this as long as Shego's on the dark side. She could change. She's been a hero before, and could become one again under the right circumstances. Kim's not gonna go dark. But I don't really see either of them going lesbian.
Kim and Drakken: Oh, good grief! Who besides Drakkenfan thinks this is even possible? They have nothing in common, and everything in opposition. Opposites don't attract when they're that opposite.
Ron and Bonnie: been there, done that. Only if Ron has 99 million dollars and no Kim.
Shipping as a term: great neologism. I use it all the time, on or off the neck. I see a couple hugging or kissing, and say, "Aw, they're acting shippy!"

on a side note- I always heard the term "Shipper" came from "relationship" and I also had heard it originated with X-files fans. anyway. Who me? yeah I like K/R- and it's my opinion that the first scene of the the pilot episode, and the last scene of the finale focus on this facet of KP. I like the humor, the plots, the references, the gags, the characters, the art, the music, and the K/R aspect too. (in my eyes the other relationships they had fall into this category, so while I don't love or hate them, I like them as they fit into the whole) Ok- I like Shego/Drakken too. But rarely do I like the fan version of it- where people turn it into your basic romance, (including me) that's not their relationship at all and that's not how it's portrayed on the show. So I like it but I can go either way on it. I also think Bonnie/Brick is funny, just because it is. admit it. :-p Other than that, I'm totally against shipping.

When I originally heard the term shipper I thought it had something to do with shipping containers or ships in general.
That shows you how out of the loop I have been. :/

Despite me not being much of a K\R shipper, I am interested in how they will portray their relationship in the new season (can't get over that! )

Relationships, relationships... The world would never evolve without relationships, remember that.
