nothing to do with nothing, I finished your request Ninnik! dADrakken and Shego kissing. I feel very insecure about this one, it has many flaws. Sorry in advance if you don't like it or something. It is not the last D/S kiss I'm drawing so maybe I'll improve with some more practice! here is the page with the sketchI was going to do the one in the bottom left corner, but I thought it was too similar to the kiss skinny-mini drew long ago. I felt I was sorta copying it. ok I'll shut up now D: Thank you.^___^ Shego looks very sweet (in a relaxed, non-sugary way). Excellent expression on her. Drakken looks like he's kinda frowning, though, probably because his eyebrow is a bit low, making him look vaguely annoyed somehow, which sorta takes away some of the whole relaxed/pleasurable vibe that a kiss like this should have. I feel terrible for even saying that, considering it's a commish for me, but I believe in honesty-- and it's really just a minor thing. The coloring and lines are faboo like always. Oh, and...more D/S kissy face, you say? *rubs hands in anticipation*

I see that you adopted my little nickname as an official title.
... You're still going to make us all wait until next Wednesday for the new chapter, aren't you?
Gah, Siena, if I had your talent...
I really ought to make a request of you before you stop taking them, but I don't know what to ask for yet.
Oh, and in case anyone is interested, my birthday is coming up soon...

LOL, yeah, Drakken's expression makes me wonder what the back of the card says. Finally, a new story to add to my D/S site. I don't even remember the last time I added one. www.fanfiction.net/s/4861032/1/The_BedShort, but amusing. As soon as I saw the summary, I just knew it had to be D/S. XD The big, red, round bed lives on in infamy!

The whole thing about Drakken feeling so inferior to Shego does seem to be mostly a fanon construction, probably inspired by things like A Sitch in Time or Shego getting a higher score on the evil-testing machine in Bad Boy. Well I wouldn't call it fanon when it goes against canon. I see fanon more as fan-created element that compliments/fits in with canon. Drakken feeling inferior is not canon. There are plenty of examples of arrogant behaviour on his side. In ASiT he gives a good example of feeling superior to Shego when he makes the point that she's basically just the sidekick. As for 'Bad Boy' I don't know wether to attribute Drakken's score on the 'meanness-level tester' to lacking continuity/consistensy or to the fact that the machine tests 'meanness' rather than evil, which are two different things after all. Drakken may only be mean as a playground bully, but you can't really get more evil or petty than wanting to take over the world just so you can enslave your former friends. He's also shown he's prepared to sink as low as possible (Stealing a crippled kid's wheelchair. That's like kicking a puppy. Just horrible.), and go to any lengths to achieve that goal. So while I do think Drakken lacks in meanness, he more than makes up for it in wanting to oppress every single person on earth.[/rant over] LOL, yeah, Drakken's expression makes me wonder what the back of the card says. Not to be a sourpuss or anything, but I really can't picture either of them wanting to jump on beds. Anyway, I agree with it being amusing. A nice break from all the more "serious" fics I've been reading lately.

Which is also a different thing. The fact is that Drakken wants to take over the world, which is about as evil as you get in the KP-verse. Shego robbing banks and just generally causing havoc, and her attitude, is mean/bad, yes, but forcing people to live under your dictatorship is a lot worse. I'm not saying Shego is less evil than Drakken, but compared to his ambitions and goals, and what he's prepared to do to make them happen (moving continents as seen in Clothes Minded, destroying cities as seen in So the Drama and using a secret military super-weapon to basically annihilate Paris as seen in Mind Games) what she does is pretty small potatoes on the evil scale. On the other hand Shego is ruder, more 'in your face' and likes to create problems for the heroes, not even to stop them at times but more just to taunt them. She's got more of a 'teasing troublemaker' personality. She's the type who robs banks and shoplifts. Shego has a very bad/mean personality, while Drakken's is more sensitive. The point is, it's not someone's personality who defies whether your evil or not. It's their actions and goals. Anyway, the three most likely scenarios are that it was either a deliberate lapse in continuity in order to make the story work, or Hench rigged the machine in order to sell more attitudinators. Or that it simply tested the badness/meanness of ones personality rather than ones level of evil. There's no evidence to substantiate the second theory, but given what we know about Hench and how evil we know Drakken can show that he is, it's pretty likely. A fourth theory is that, since it looks just like and works on the same principles of a love testing machine, it probably functions just like one as well. If so the results are hardly reliable.

Not to be a sourpuss or anything, but I really can't picture either of them wanting to jump on beds. Anyway, I agree with it being amusing. A nice break from all the more "serious" fics I've been reading lately. From what I've seen in various fandoms throughout the years, fanon can be many things-- and it can (and often does) go against canon, too. For example, KiGo is described as a fanon couple. Fanon can (and often does) complement canon, but it can also simply be something like an idea from a fanfic/fanart/whatever that has been accepted/used by several/enough people, making it fanon. I also blinked briefly at the idea of Drakken and Shego jumping on the bed, but I certainly won't put it past a man in his forties who still has a teddy bear (not that there's anything wrong with that; I still have mine ) to want to jump on his bed, especially if it was forbidden to him by his mother when he was younger. As for Shego, she's done so many silly things for Drakken already that I'll believe this, even if it's stretching it a wee bit, maybe. Which is also a different thing. The fact is that Drakken wants to take over the world, which is about as evil as you get in the KP-verse. Shego robbing banks and just generally causing havoc, and her attitude, is mean/bad, yes, but forcing people to live under your dictatorship is a lot worse. A fourth theory is that, since it looks just like and works on the same principles of a love testing machine, it probably functions just like one as well. If so the results are hardly reliable. Not gonna question the reliability of the badness level tester, which is, yep, very dodgy indeed. I was just saying that it might be where some fans have gotten part of some Shego superiority idea from, like some fans seem to think that Shego would act like she did in Emotion Sickness when in a relationship with Drakken-- or that she's constantly violent towards him in general. Oy vey. @___@ I have to point out one thing, though. If I remember correctly, people usually seem to forget, in debates about Drakken and Shego's levels of evil etc, that Shego's younger than Drakken. How evil/bad was Drakken when he was in his twenties? ...even compared to season 1 Shego, (who I'm guessing is about the same age he was back then) not very, although he changed from that point on. How evil can/could/might/ Shego be in her forties? Very, very-- even compared to StD!Drakken. Not saying Shego's more evil than Drakken, just saying that she should be given some slack due to her age. From ASiT, although it was erased from time, we see how an older Shego is much more ambitious about evil, emphasized by how she has trouble at first with convincing her younger and less motivated self to do what she says. Again, just pointing out where Drakken was at about her age, although I won't deny that he is and was more ambitious than her in general. Actually, it was "Test Your Badness Level." (Click for full image. I wasn't sure, and was too lazy to check. XD Okay, if it's about who's the baddest, then it's no doubt that it's Shego, dodgy Hench Co tester or no.

Without reading the posts, I just want to add in my views on who is more evil; Drakken or Shego.
My simple point of view is that neither are more evil than the other. They are just evil in different ways. The only reason Shego succeeded in ASiT is because Kim wasn't around to stop her. Drakken's evil exhibits itself through his ambition. Shego's evil is seen through her meanness and bank robberies, etc.

I don't think ASiT Shego was more evil than Drakken is in STD. What Shego did there is pretty much what he'd do. Now of course I don't think he'd keep her as a slave, but some of the other villains, sure. Plus he'd also punish those who had wronged him in the past. The big difference is that he actually goes through the trouble of coming up with plots that are considerably evil, a lot of them involving substantial losses of human lives, while Shego had the ASiT presented to her on a silver platter. She didn't come up with the idea herself, and even if she did we weren't provided with any evidence it was as brutal and uncaring of human lives as one of Drakken's schemes. Not saying it wasn't. It could very well have been. I'm just laying down the facts. Shego's never been the ambitious type who would go through the trouble of It's the fact that he can sit down and think of a plot that involves large losses of innocent lives and go "Hey. this is a really good idea." that makes his evil more ambitious/grand. Shego's type of evil is more about the little details/nuances, like mocking the enemy while doing something. I didn't really see any evidence she was more ambitious in the future. She went about things pretty much just like she normally would. Drakken even had to remind her to gloat. He also said she'd stolen his dream, which means he'd planned on doing pretty much the same things she did (renaming of the city (we've already seen examples of this with Drakkenville, Drakkanada and Drakkengea), brainwashing the populace, and have monuments constructed in her image). Actually all those things fit Drakken's M.O. a lot better. Shego could just have been taking advice from him, like she did with the gloating. She seemed like her old self enough to just be reaping the benefits from others' ideas. She was certainly just as laid back. and more interested in watching Kim and Drakken fight it out than do the normal 'ambitious villain' thing and let some complicated death device take care of her while moving on to more important things. The whole point of the future timeline being deleted at the end of the ASiT trilogy was that Shego doesn't end up like she did in the first place, which she only did because the timline was disturbed in the first place. Future Shego visiting young Shego had an impact on the timeline that changed what came after. The Shego we saw ruling Middleton wasn't a product of natural devotion and ambition, but that of having everything presented to her. The Shego we know wouldn't naturally evolve into the future one. She only did it because someone went back and changed the past. I also don't think Drakken is any more evil now than he was when he first turned evil. Remember, as it's been presented to us he went straight from what he was to world conquering madman. He peaked already back then. The same rules would apply to Shego. To sum this ridiculously long post up: I think neither one is more or less evil than the other. Drakken's evil is just more ambitious/grander, while Shego's is more detailed, and on a more personal level. Or to put it in another way, Drakken would cause mass genocide just to suit his cause, but he wouldn't personally meet/see one of his victims. Shego on the other hand is more likely to single just one person out and make their life a living hell. I'd like to see Drakken propose to Shego. I think it'd be amusing to see how he'd botch it up. Like I said in our MSN convo, I think that if he proposed he'd go to great lengths to make it the perfect proposal. And it would be... up until they both realize he'd forgotten the ring.
