Found some D/S fan art that kind of amused me. Poor Shego. XD To be realistic, I doubt canon Shego (as opposed to whichever fanon Shego you might prefer) would have a positive reaction to KiGo fan art. Of course, I very much doubt she'd like D/S fan art or fan art of herself in general ("Why am I always surrounded by geeks?"), either, as she'd probably think it was embarrassing, lame and/or creepy...but KiGo fan art would probably melt her eyeballs (as well as Kim's eyeballs). But please, let's not turn this into some retarded "KiGo hate fest". That's not my point (and that's not our style, anyway). Basically, I just found the line "D/S goddammit!" funny.  |

all right, this one's twisted- okay perverted! but some images are just too potent.  Shego: My master makes me do housework in high heels and green spandex. Sometimes I get to wear a dog collar. Whenever he wants to >beep< me, I have to bend over and beg him to shove it in.  Today my master's girlfriend is coming over. She likes to pull my hair while >beep<ing me with >beep<s. Master just sits and watches us. Sometimes he strokes himself. I have to do whatever Master's girlfriend says. Her orders are only superseded by his. I can't wait. |

Drakken would probably find it very cute. Just fear for Shego discovering his collection:  Shego: What the hell is this? "Stress! Stress! Stress!"? Yeah, they're saying they're not homophobic and don't dislike slash pairings-- they just don't like THIS particular slash pairing. Is it me, or do some people sometimes just assume somebody's homophobic or hates slash pairings simply because they don't like a certain pairing? I've had it happen to me at least once, and it was uncomfortable and insulting. I know sometimes it is the case that some people are homophobic, but for me, anyway, it's particular pairings I "oppose", not gay pairings as a whole-- why on Earth should I? There are plenty of het pairings I don't like. To make an example-- in Buffy, Buffy/Angel just isn't my bag, even despite being/having been canon. I think they both become less entertaining and interesting when paired with each other. I thought Angel was a completely lame character until I saw him paired with Cordelia instead on his own show, for example (Buffy, being the main character, was of course developed independently of Angel as well and was always interesting). But err...getting off topic here (sort of). In KP, I'm sure I could go on and on about het pairings I don't like. Somehow I think Kim would be significantly more freaked out by it while Shego would more angry. Yeah, it pretty much goes without saying that an easily embarrassed, inexperienced teenager would react differently than an older, temperamental super villain. I think any real person would be a bit creeped out by fanart or fics about themselves. When I worked at the TV station, our female anchors (it was always the women, never the men  ) would often get the Creepy! Fan Letter or, worse, the Creepy! Fan Phone Call. Their reactions were usually along the lines of 'Ewww! I think I need a shower now.' Also, pepper spray keychains were a very popular accessory for all the women who worked there...myself included. Now I'm tempted to add a section to LST where Shego starts getting Creepy! Fan Mail...but it's too long already. |

Once again RGB, sorry I didn't review, I just rather... forgot. Not a problem...unless it's a veiled poke at me for being just as bad, or worse. Honestly, one of these days, I'll start clearing my reviews backlog. Thinking of which, I enjoyed the end of Long Strange Trip, though, excuse the vulgarity... (spoiler!) doesn't robbing the cruise ship you're just leaving fall under "don't crap where you eat?" Still, it's great! I loved it. The ending is nice conclusion to the the thought Shego was having, and the I liked the "It was best to beat that thought into submission,"...oh, hell it's all good work. Reread Ninnik's "Unconventional" chapter of The Ones That Never Happened. I love the way Drakken goes from chastising Shego to begging forgiveness without her ever saying a word. |
