"Girlbrush Threepwood"? You fight like a dairy farmer! When will we again see such epicness? ...on another note, who else misses SleepySiena's D/S art? D: I second these sentiments. Great work, Charlotte. Okay...can I just whisper a discrete little 'squee' here? Nice artwork, well drawn and very sweet. The little sketch of Kim and Ron looking in disbelief is a good touch.

How appropriate. You fight like a cow. <3 ;D<3 I hope The Real World is treating you well. On topic, nearly, is anyone reading Charles Gray's "James and Cindy" stories? They might fit in here because Cindy Lipsky is Drakken and Shego's daughter, and the depiction of Shego as obsessively overprotective mother is great fun.

Thanks. I've only been in my new job for five days so far, though, so I'm sure I don't know the half of how busy it's gonna be. @___@ James and Cindy? Sorry, Red, I don't do spawn. *shrugs* As for D/S-- I've finally found a fic to add to my D/S site. I haven't recommended any fics there since March. www.fanfiction.net/s/5120943/1/VietnamIt could use a proof reading, but other than that, it's pretty good. I'll leave a review there later.

It was an awesome ride, Charlotte. That's what they said. (Sorry...I couldn't help it...) Anyway, thanks! ;D That eet wuz, that eet wuz. One of these days, I might even read the finished post-beta chapter and leave an actual review. When will we again see such epicness? ...on another note, who else misses SleepySiena's D/S art? D: Aw, thanks...and probably not for a long while from me...that was exhausting! I may write some short stories over the summer, but I don't want to start another big project. I miss SleepySiena's art...what happened to her? Come back, SleepySiena! Thinking of which, I enjoyed the end of Long Strange Trip, though, excuse the vulgarity... (spoiler!) doesn't robbing the cruise ship you're just leaving fall under "don't crap where you eat?" Still, it's great! I loved it. The ending is nice conclusion to the the thought Shego was having, and the I liked the "It was best to beat that thought into submission,"...oh, hell it's all good work. Well, since they're getting off the cruise ship, I figured they wouldn't care...they never exactly kept being villains a secret. And thanks for the kind words. I wasn't entirely happy with the last chapter, but if I didn't finish it before school let out, I knew I wouldn't get it finished until next fall...and I didn't want to drag it out that long. On topic, nearly, is anyone reading Charles Gray's "James and Cindy" stories? They might fit in here because Cindy Lipsky is Drakken and Shego's daughter, and the depiction of Shego as obsessively overprotective mother is great fun. I read a few of those (based on your rec here) and thought they were cute. They're not entirely focused on the children, but still have D/S and K/R...I thought they were funny... and short, which is good for me right now, because I have no time. If Drakken and Shego were real people, I don't think they would choose to settle down in Middleton, even if they had retired from villainy, but I can buy it in the context of a show in which Kim's arch-foe turns out to be her dad's former college room-mate. As for D/S-- I've finally found a fic to add to my D/S site. I haven't recommended any fics there since March. www.fanfiction.net/s/5120943/1/VietnamIt could use a proof reading, but other than that, it's pretty good. I'll leave a review there later. That one was good...I really enjoyed it. I liked the fact that it was from Drakken's POV, and that it was a sincere portrayal of what he might be thinking/feeling.

Maybe if we all pray to the D/S gods, SleepySiena will return with her wonderful art.

Well, it's not SleepySiena, but I found some D/S art, anyway. Click the pics to see the bigger versions and to fave and review. In the last one, their skin colors seem a bit off, with Shego looking more orange than green and Drakken more purple/pink than blue, but maybe it's just supposed to be the fact that it's night time, combined with the fact that there's a fire in the background? I dunno, it still seems off, but either way, it's an interesting rendition of D/S. I've never seen them done in quite that style before, have you?

Well, I don´t think their skin colours are that much off in the second pic. What bugs me more about that picture is the expression on Shego´s face.
The artist wanted to picture her as "clammed up" in surprise as Drakken goes for the kiss. To me her face doesn´t look like "clammed up". I´d rather describe it as a "completely blank stare as if she´s mind controlled again." The rest of the pic looks good though.
Oh, and hello all of you!
Great thread! The captions are comedy gold!

I agree, I was thinking of that, too-- the expression on her face looks kinda blank and doll-like. It would've looked more natural if she looked more surprised/tense than just...well, blank. She doesn't look as bad as she did when she was mind controlled, but her face does look too relaxed. There should at least be some sort of subtle shock shown there. Other than that, though, I like the poses and the background and the unusual style. Oh, by the way-- welcome to the D/S fandom, Asmodeus.

Oh, by the way-- welcome to the D/S fandom, Asmodeus. Thanks. Joining a fan-forum of a TV-show / cartoon is new for me, as well as posting in a shipping-thread. I blame it all on the horde of D/S - plot bunnies rampaging in my head since watching the show.

Don't even talk to me about plot bunnies. So, does that mean you'll be writing any D/S fics?

Yes, it looks like I´ll try my luck with writing D/S fics. Actually I already started writing on my first one a few days ago.
I don´t think, there´s any other way to get those cursed bunnies out of my head.

Nice picture. I really like that artist's style...her Drakken and Shego are beautiful, and her artwork always tells a story. And for your further entertainment (hopefully) here's a short. quick story I wrote and wanted to publish before I left to go out of town next week. It's a little rougher than usual because I wrote it fast and didn't ask anyone to beta, but, anyway... It's not related to any of my other stories. In this one, Drakken and Shego have decided to behave themselves and accept some legitimate work after Graduation, and they're still deeply in denial about, y'know, those pesky feelings. www.fanfiction.net/s/5147069/1/Detour

Read it, loved it, Charlotte, well done as always.
Welcome Asmodeus. Asmodeus, demon of lust according to the oldest records, usually pictured with three heads and the feet of a cock.
As you can see, I am a bit of a mythology/demonology nut.
If you have stories my dear, write them down! And if you need a beta, I would be happy to help.

I haven't read Detour yet, but I will at some point during the next few days, I think. As for those, including me, that thought the Vietnam fic was a bit rough-- I offered to beta read it for the author, and they accepted, so here's the updated version. By the way, I'm reading a book called The Naked and The Undead: Evil and The Appeal of Horror, by Cynthia A. Freeland, which analyzes horror movies and books from a feministic perspective (no man-hating crap; just looking at female roles in these horror universes). I probably won't have time to read the whole book, but I did come across this thing I wanted to quote here. [About Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley] "A female and sublime Nature is more mystified than respected; and the sublime mysteries of Nature are also linked in troubling ways to the allegedly irrational nature of individual women. Women are valued for an emotional perspective that corrects the excessive rationalism of the male scientist. This is a trope that continues in mad scientist movies right up to today. Such a picture of women, however, is sentimental and perpetuates gender stereotypes."This book came out in 2000, before Kim Possible had started. Now, while the author only looks at literature and live action movies and probably wouldn't be interested in animation, I still kinda have to wonder what they'd have to say, if anything, about the mad scientist/sidekick relationship of Drakken and Shego, considering it hardly fits that mould at all. Oh, and just because it made me laugh: LULWUT? XDMaybe it's a kind of highly surrealistic style that I'm just too lowbrow to appreciate.
