Now THAT was awesome! I can imagine Monty listening to that at some late night in his castle.

Hmmm...classical cembalo à la Johann Sebastian Bach.

Yeah, same here. As for his "Monkey Fist" side, I ended up with associating it with instrumentals like, for example, some parts of the soundtracks of a couple of LoZ games (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask), and I blame Hanna for that - she's the one that pointed out how the atmosphere of some of them fit Monty, and now I often end up thinking of him while listening to the soundtracks or just playing XD
Yeah, same here - for some reason, I can easily picture him listening stuff like that ;D I can also picture him listening to traditional Asian music though - it wouldn't surprise me if he listened both kinds of music.
...eheh, it wouldn't surprise me that he listened music from the Beatles when he was a teenager though ;D I must say I get a massive giggle at the thought of a young Monty listening to songs like, say, "Imagine" ("Imagine all the people living life in peace"...yeah, right XD Then again, people can be pretty idealistic as teens, even when they end up turning out bad.)

Yes, that leads to what kind of music YOU associate with Monty, his possible music tastes aside. I have to second you on that, Pengy- it was I who put you on the thought after all. Mainly some of the tracks from ' Majora's Mask', I'd say. They have a crazy, sinister feel to them, which fits ''Monkey Fist''. Even ''childish'', yet ''dangerous''. Then there's the temple music. Stone Tower comes to my mind as the closest ancient theme to associate with Monty. But yeah...I can't help thinking of Monty every time I hear a cembalo, or some classic pieces with cembalos in it now.XD

So I didn't even know what a cembalo was until I looked it up. It's fitting for English Lord Monty, but I think I prefer thinking of Monty-- a younger Monty, perhaps during happier, less sinister times-- liking rock music. Not the stuff Motor Ed listens to, but older stuff... Like the Beatles. I get this image of him strumming a guitar more expertly than most, courtesy of his genetically altered hands.

Yeah, I like the idea he would be listening to that kind of music when he was young man. The Beatles were pretty much a must to listen for anyone that was a teen back in those days ;D

No way, there's another EA fan on this board?
I would go with one of her electric violin songs for MF here, much louder, more... chaotic.

Yay, Emilie rocks! ^^ like this one? www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDuJKxHXOTYI love it, it always makes me think about Monty! I mean it`s totally fitting his two sides, the cembalo and the electric violine... I almost ran into a bus yesterday when I was jogging, because I was listening to it and Monty came again into my mind Hey, and Li is there! Finally some free time?

This style of music is called "victorian industrial", and Emilie invented it, if I`m right informed. It is really worth to check out, she is one of the best artists I know. She is a bit crazy XD
