Personally I find the story to be reasonable (But not excellent, largely towards the end is where it's let down) and the art style varies from really very good to rather horrendous (Monkey Fist towards the end started to look really malformed).

Wow, Monkey Fist was really rushed looking in the beginning, but at 21 it just gets scary, Lol.

It's kinda weird that way, because some of Rich's fanart is really quite good, but at other times it's really quite bad. It's surprising that within one artist we see the entire gamut of good to bad.

I noticed that as well. I suppose he wings certain positions... which can be good, unless it's just ridiculous looking...or maybe, at some times, he just wants to hurry up and get it done instead of take more time on it... Because obviously we know how good he can be. I know I've had moments where I was like like... GOTTA GET IT DONE... and never erased again. Lmao.

I like it, I'm just shocked by the sheer number of drawings! even if they aren't all perfected, as we know he could do, they are very good. the amount of work that went into that must have been crazy.

Rich is a cool artist, but like any artist, he has his good times and his bad times. Sometimes his art is great, sometimes it's so-so, sometime's is bland, every artist goes through that. Heck, I do as well, I've done my fair share of awful, bad, good and great pics.
He's not a great great GREAT KP artist, but he's one of the best out there, and that's putting it mildly.
And I have read the comic, it's well done, the action is done pretty amateur though, overall it was okay, but probably better than something I would've done.
