I was wondering what the consensus is on this concept.

I do, and I write them (in the 'latest' fic, they're 22 and newlyweds) but it seems my fics with the largest audience are always right after Prom and Senior Year.

My most popular stories are all within a few years of the show's time. Though I started 'So Much Later' plug alert and continued from there.

I like em, although it just depends on how well written they are.

I see nothing wrong with them, given I mainly write them as grown-ups just a few years after high school as they attend university. We know they will not be teenagers forever, so the next step is to write them becoming responsible adults. IMO, I see this next step in their lives have many ideas for fanfics. We pretty much seen them as teens, so it'll be challenge to vision what direction they will take after high school.

Well, a link to my FF.net author profile, which have all my fics, is in my sig below the signature picture. Check out my Kim Possible: The University Years series for stories of Kim and Ron and company at Upperton U. Another adult K/R story I've done (even though it's mostly on K/R's children") is "Another Stoppable Day."

As an angst-ridden teenager, I would prefer to hear stories about them as teenagers. I generally don't like it when they age. Although, in my fic they will grow up, but no too old.

As a Middle-aged Dad, I was racked with ideas about them in middle-age. I intended only two stories at first. Then they landslided into stories about the kids I had made up. I keep trying to keep the focus on Kim somehow, but some people tell me they like to read about these kids. I also must admit, I like them too. I've read other stories that have K/R and D/S having kids and dealing with one another either as friends/neighbors or as enemies (or both). I tend to like the sillier ones.
