As long as you keep up with storys like this (the Fallen was one of the best I've read BTW) I won't have to resort to this *Image snipped* But what if I prefer swords? At least you picked a honorable weapon of history and fame, and one with a decent caliber. Still, give me a rapier any day. Or a claymore, if I'm not feeling... subtle. Thank you for the comment about "The Fallen". I'm always glad to hear that folks enjoy reading my inane blatherings. ;D Actually, I'm kinda proud of that story...

Not to subtle then? Then Grenades at Dawn!! LOL I'm having too much fun with this

wow! great chapter i wish i could write like that man your good. i can't wait for the next chapter. keep up the great work Thank you, sir. As for the quality of writting... well, I've had a lot of practice. I've actually been writting Star Wars fanfiction for nigh on six years now. The way to learn to write is to write often, accept both criticism and praise, learn from the former, and don't let the latter go to your head. Also read. A lot. From as many types of literature, and as many authors, as you can. You'll pick up a few things along the way. That being said, and I still can't proofread worth a flip... 'sides, if you want really good KP writting, check out G-Go's works. That dude kicks my tail end up one side and down the other. You can find him in my favorites list.

LOL I'm having too much fun with this Bleed to death nothing... it's just a question of not wanting to use two shots on the same target to get 'em to stay down. Grenades at Dawn? That's certainly a new one in the history of dueling... Grenades aren't very sporting, though... you don't actually have to hit the other person, just get them in the blast radius. How very crude. A good blade requires finesse, dadnabbit!

Just got done reading chapter 4, quite a bit better than the others. That's saying a lot considering that while reading the other ones, I was really sleepy and now I'm wide awake and noticed more about the plot. To me, it seems kinda clich'ed about your villain's intentions, not that there's anything wrong with that, you chose the right kind of revenge to take place. Anyways, I noticed you had a FedEx man in this chapter as well, I wonder if there's a relation to the one that appeared in mine... I noticed a couple mistakes, can't remember where they were, but weren't that big of a deal. Other than that, very nice. I can't wait for the final chapter. There, that'll qualify for a review, I think... I don't feel like logging in on fanfiction.net right now to leave one on the site, but at least I gave you a response, yay. Now I'm off to work on mine, hopefully I'll be able to get chapter 5 out sometime next week. I gotta really get going, it's taking me way to long to update...

That's saying a lot considering that while reading the other ones, I was really sleepy and now I'm wide awake and noticed more about the plot. Thankie. ;D Being wide awake certainly helps alot, don't it? Still, some of my best writting was done at 2 A.M. back in college. Of course, I can't do THAT schedule anymore... You're right; it's quite cliched. But oh, trust me... there is more to Sparks than meets the eye. Much, much more... and just as much more to Panther, and Richard DeLong, for that matter. As to the FedEx guys... perhaps they are cousins. I've just had far better experience with FedEx than I have with UPS. FedEx, at least, will drop off packages with the apartment office when I ain't here... UPS makes me go to the post office... One day I'm just gonna, like, print all these stories out, take 'em to my parent's house, give my mom and dad red pens, and just let 'em go to town. THEN I can update again with a full-fledge error-free edition. Or something. Next chapter coming "soon". Hopefully by this weekend, but we'll see. Yeah, this'll suffice, I reckon . FF.net is really just a formality, anyway... And yes, you must update with greater regularity, since I want to know what happens next, blast it! Chop-Chop, man! ;D

Actually, there are way too many fanfics out there to read them all. I myself have a hard time trying to keep track on all of them without getting the plots mixed up.

Thankie. ;D Being wide awake certainly helps alot, don't it? Still, some of my best writting was done at 2 A.M. back in college. Of course, I can't do THAT schedule anymore... I can relate to that, some of the best writing has been done around midnight while typing away on the computer. I can't do it much anymore, with school started back up and everything... (No college yet, got about a year and three quarters before I graduate high school.) You're right; it's quite cliched. But oh, trust me... there is more to Sparks than meets the eye. Much, much more... and just as much more to Panther, and Richard DeLong, for that matter. Oh really, sounds interesting... I'd like to see what you'll come up with. Like I said, the idea is slightly cliched, but some of the elements, like the pheromones element is very well thought out and makes it more original. As to the FedEx guys... perhaps they are cousins. I've just had far better experience with FedEx than I have with UPS. FedEx, at least, will drop off packages with the apartment office when I ain't here... UPS makes me go to the post office... I like that too, not having to go all the way to the post office to get the stuff I order online. Plus at Newegg.com, their prices are better than UPS... One day I'm just gonna, like, print all these stories out, take 'em to my parent's house, give my mom and dad red pens, and just let 'em go to town. THEN I can update again with a full-fledge error-free edition. Or something. It's worth a shot, they might catch quite a bit and every small amount of help, well... helps. Next chapter coming "soon". Hopefully by this weekend, but we'll see. Cool, I'll be looking forward to how your ending goes. Yeah, this'll suffice, I reckon . FF.net is really just a formality, anyway... And yes, you must update with greater regularity, since I want to know what happens next, blast it! Chop-Chop, man! ;D I guess I'm just too lazy to go on fanfiction.net and leave a formal review, but all well. I hope to have the next chapter up by Monday, hopefully making up for how long it's taken me for the past couple chapters.

Next chapter coming "soon". Hopefully by this weekend, but we'll see. Count the above as "famous last words". Well, I'd intended to finish up this weekend... but, as you can guess, I didn't. <Connery>Only on account of villainy!</Connery> Or maybe not... Actually, ADD kicked in, my brain went "ooh! Shiny!", and I wound up wasting much of Saturday re-reading portions of "Schlock Mercenary". Good webcomic, but still... So yeah. I am working on it, and will continue to do so during the week. Till then, I give you the last words I wrote tonight, as a little preview... Or something. More to come. Any work done tomorrow will depend on frequency of trick-or-treaters (if we even get any in the apartment complex...) .

Curse you shiny objects!!!!!!
They are the bane of writers everywhere. LOL!
Don't worry about it. We aren't going anywhere soon. I also realize that weddings take a long time to write. (The Fallen can always be edited. ;D )

But they are so shiny Seriously though distractions happen, KP: The Car Comes to Middleton distracted me from another chapter of Horrors of War. And I have maybe 2 chapters left of Horrors of War compared to the roughly 8 or so in The Car. darn my pen for running out of ink!!! I couldn't write the idea down so I took care of it while still fresh in my head. Now I'm split between 2 stories and school work. Joy!!

I can relate to that, some of the best writing has been done around midnight while typing away on the computer. I can't do it much anymore, with school started back up and everything... (No college yet, got about a year and three quarters before I graduate high school.) College is a whole 'nother world from high school. But it's also a lot more fun. For any all possible values of fun, of course... ;D Curse you shiny objects!!!!!! They are the bane of writers everywhere. LOL! Don't worry about it. We aren't going anywhere soon. I also realize that weddings take a long time to write. (The Fallen can always be edited. ;D ) : Ducks and runs from Moose's expected angry response: It's even worse when the shiny things are quality science-fiction. Makes 'em even harder to avoid... Oddly enough... I probably will edit "The Fallen" once the College stories are done, just to have it mesh a bit better with the overall story line. Cosmetic changes, and all that. AKA "what I get for making stuff up as I go, and for telling a story in something that doesn't even resemble a linear fashion." Angry response? I don't normally do angry, but we'll see... hmmm... ::channels inner Scot:: <Connery> You think you're so smart Trebek, what with your diego mustache and your greasy hair.</Connery> <Trebek>What did I just say about ethnic slurs?</Trebek> Aye! And if the real Artificial Moose were here, and if he did in fact get angry, then he would consume ye with fireballs from his eyes, and lighting bolts from his- ::is sacked:: Ah, well, so much for that... in any case, I'm going to sit around tonight, dressed in back with a Phantom of the Opera Mask and a fedora, and wait to see if any trick-or-treaters come. Will write tomorrow. Likely won't finish till later.

So yeah... been awhile, huh? I apologize for the delay (and for the length of the update!) but a bit of writers block struck, and it took me a while to bust through. In any event, Chapter 5, "Reconciliation", is now up at FF.net. You can find it here: www.fanfiction.net/s/2567370/5/Happy reading.
