I was thinking that I think who ever makes a fan fiction shold start rating them. I've read very disturbing fan fictions that I thought were very innapropriate
ratings:
E: Everyone
E 13: 13 and up
T: Teens
M: Mature ( 18 and up )
AO: Adults only ( 20 and up )

The warnings on Paragon were not enough... dear god I almost fainted....
Actually, it's E10, ages 10 and up. That said...

Like I said about Paragon, it contained mature themes, which means that it isn't intended for young aged people and the faint of heart. I thought that would have been enough to let everyone know that it is very disturbing. That being said, I'm 16, and when it disturbs me, I'm pretty sure it will do the same for about anyone else under my age. Maybe it wasn't enough, but I'm just voicing my opinion here.
As for my fanfiction ratings, everything I've written has a Teen rating. I push the limits a little, but I never found myself going even close to where Paragon went.

Rating is a good idea. Is there really a difference between 18 and 20, Your basicly an adult?

The Fallen: somewhere between T and M, due to violent content.
Aftermath: T
College Days: T (I think, won't know for sure till I finish it)
Most future stories will drift between T and M ratings, mostly on the T side, though. No lemons, at least, though I do have one idea that will likely be a lime, if nothing else...

Pushed too far : M or a R rating, it gets graphic
The Team Grows: T or PG 13 mild violence and gunplay
Car Shopping: G or E no violence at all
My next story "The Horrors of War" will also be a R rating, but I didn't finish it.
Pargon disturbed me for 2 days after I read it, and I am 20 and In college. It torments your mind a little.
