I have begun writing my newest Kim Possible fanfiction. The story is still untitled and is the sequel to my other fan-fic Love Flown From a Christmas Tree. Here is a link to the story: www.fanfiction.net/s/2436799/1/
As for my new story I have an outline done as well as one of the final chapters. I am not going to post the story until it is finished but here is a preview. Warning this contains some major SPOILERS.
The small damp room was lit only in a sparse area by a small flickering light that seemed as though it could go out any second. The air was musky and some what difficult to breathe. Standing just within the light Kim could see two men. One she made out to be Ron, who, with his arms behind his back was obviously scared about something. The other man Kim did not recognize his face but definitely recognized the evil presence that he eluded. Kim noticed the gun that the man had pointed at Ron’s head.
“Welcome Ms. Possible” Chameleon said, his expression cold, never once blinking.
“Chameleon” replied Kim who stared deeply into the eyes of the sinister man. The look in her eyes was filled with rage. Kim glanced over at Ron trying to show him a look that said everything would be okay but all Ron saw was fear in her eyes.
“I have a proposition for you Kim.” As Chameleon said this he pressed a button on a small remote he held in his left-hand. The entire room lit up showing many computers and monitors. Attached to Ron were wires that also connected to some of the computers as well as a heart monitor.
“As you’ve noticed there are wires connecting Mr. Stoppable here to my network of computers. What you do not know is why they are attached to him.”
Kim starts to grow impatient and Chameleon sees this.
“Ms. Possible it would be in both of your best interests for you to listen to what I have to say.”
Kim tensed up even more for a minute but then looked at Ron. She once again noticed the fear in his eyes. She knew she had to control her emotions. Kim relaxed.
“Good now let us continue. In sixty major cities all over the world I have planted a small bomb containing a deadly nerve gas. The wires attached to Mr. Stoppable here send a message to the computers as long as his heart beats. If you will notice the countdown on the fourth monitor to your right, we have one minute and fifty-five seconds, one minute and fifty-four seconds. My proposition is, well I guess it’s more of a game really. In this gun is a single bullet. I’m going to slide it over to you. Now during the final minute of the countdown a bomb will go off every second until all sixty of them have detonated. The only way to stop the bombs from going off is to stop Mr. Stoppable’s heart from bleeding. The choice is yours Ms. Possible. Sacrifice the lives of millions to save your boyfriend or sacrifice his life to save millions. Choose wisely.”
Chameleon slides the gun over to Kim. Once it leaves his hand a trap door opens beneath him and he slides down an escape tube. Kim bends down and picks up the gun. She looks at Ron and in that instant she becomes more scared than she’s ever been. In that instant she made her choice and how easily and consciously she made it scares her. How could she decide to kill him that easily? Did he mean nothing to her? Did she ever really love him?
All Ron had to do was look into Kim’s eyes to know what she was thinking. He knew what her decision would be before she ever made it. She was his Kim and he would always love her.
Kim aimed the gun at Ron’s heart, her hand anything but steady. She looked at him one last time and said “I love you.”
“No you don’t, but thanks for saying it.” Those were Ron’s last words.
Kim pulled the trigger……………………………………………………...................
Click. She pulled the trigger once more and again the gun did not fire.
The silence that had filled the room for a second was now replaced by the laugh of pure evil. It was a laugh that was coming from the only other person in the room besides Kim. When she looked into the eyes of Ron she was that same cold, cruel, sinister look that she had seen in the eyes of Chameleon. Then right before her eyes Ron changed into Chameleon.
‘No’ thought Kim. “It can’t be true. Ron’s not…”
She did not see the attack coming but she sure felt it. The sharp blow to the small of her back sent her to the ground writhing in pain. It only took her a split second to regain her composure and get back up on her feet.
Standing in front of her now where two Chameleons. Kim charged at them and leapt into the air with a flying kick. She aimed for the chest of one of the Chameleons and went right through him.
‘A hologram.’ Kim never got the chance to finish the thought. She was once again attacked. This time two swift kicks, one to her stomach and the other to the side of her head sent her to the ground. Once again Kim quickly got back up but this time there were three Chameleons.
Again she attacked. This time more cautiously but she still was unable to find the real Chameleon. Before she even knew it she was once again sent sprawling to the cold hard floor.
Quick to her feet again she was and sure enough there was but another Chameleon standing before her. The process repeated it self several times over. Kim would attack never once hitting the real Chameleon and then she was sent to the ground by a vicious blow to her person.
She looked up once more this time counting thirteen Chameleons. Twelve of which had to be holograms. Her body was bruised, broken ribs made it painful to breathe. Blood poured from her broken nose and her left eye was swollen shut. Kim knew that she had to finish this fight soon or she would be the one finished.
She stood up as much as she could and looked around the room at the Chameleons surrounding her. She prepared herself for the oncoming attack and then it happened. One by one the Chameleons started disappearing until there was only one left. The one who was holding the gun she had tried to use earlier. He twirled the gun around in his hand for a second before ejecting the clip.
“Funny thing about guns” Chameleon said in a nonchalant voice. “They don’t fire without bullets.” With that said he once again twirled the gun in his right hand before tossing into the air. His left hand reached into his back pocket to pull out a clip of ammo while he spun around. Chameleon reached up to grab the gun but before he could the room went pitch black.
Chameleon never saw the cloaked figure high on the beams above him. A thick wire wrapped him up from his shoulders to his feet pinning his arms to his sides and his legs together. Then before he could even grasp that he was trapped he was swept off his feet and up towards the ceiling feet first. A hard blow to the back of his head knocked him out and he was left hanging there.
Kim could not see a thing in the pitch black darkness the filled the room. There was no sound except for the when the gun hit the floor. The darkness had only lasted for a mere ten seconds but it seemed like much longer. Suddenly the lights came back on. It took Kim a moment for her eyes to adjust and then she saw Chameleon hanging upside-down from the ceiling. Beside her stood Ron staring up at Chameleon also. She fainted into his arms.
Ron pulled his Tele-Ron out of his pocket and contacted Wade. “Kim’s hurt. We need an ambulance now” Ron said as calmly as he could. “Chopper will be there in less than five” Wade replied while typing furiously at his keyboard. “What about Chameleon” asked the ten-year old super-genius. “Tell the police he’ll be hanging around waiting for them” was Ron’s reply.
Inside of a room in Middleton Hospital sat Ron. His head in his hands with his elbows on his knees, he sat bedside to Kim who was sleeping. They had gotten to the hospital a few hours ago and after being examined by Kim’s mom and other physicians, it was determined that Kim would be just fine.
Ron hadn’t spoken but a few words since arriving at the hospital. He just stayed at Kim’s side the entire time. Mrs. Dr. Possible told Ron that like Kim he should get some rest. Some food would also be a good idea she told him.
He had just finished eating a sandwich he had gotten from the cafeteria. Ron was thinking about the recent events, thoughts racing through his head. It was at this time he remembered the disc he had found in the warehouse. The disc was simply labeled “The Stoppable Project.”
Curious as to what was on the disc Ron pulled his Tele-Ron from his pocket and ejected the disc tray. He placed the disc onto the tray and waited for the device to load its contents. After a few moments a video appeared on the screen.
*******************************************************************************
The video showed a room that appeared to be some sort of medical research laboratory or operating room. In the middle of the room was a table with someone on it who was hooked up to various medical machines. Ron couldn’t make out who the person on the table was at first. The camera then started to zoom in and Ron quickly recognized that it was he who was lying on the table. A person who Ron determined to be female by her stature came into view wearing a white coat and a surgeon’s mask. She held a syringe in her right hand, the contents of which she injected into Ron.
Ron just sat there staring at the screen. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He didn’t quite understand what he was seeing either. What had he been injected with? Was he the subject of the some kind of genetic experiment? What was going on? All of these questions and more raced through his head.
Ron was about to stop the video when the lady who had injected him reappeared on screen. The lady removed her surgeon’s mask and Ron saw her face. It was Kim. The sound was somewhat distorted as Ron tried to listen to what she had to say.
This is Kim Possible reporting on the status of The Stoppable Project. At 9:25 this morning I injected Ron…. The desired affects were not obtained and Ron… create new… is a failure…. he will not survive the night.
Ron looked at the bed unable to believe what he had just heard. What he had just scene. Kim had been the one to experiment on him. Why? Who was she reporting to? What had she done to him? What did she mean by create new? Was he not real? Why was he a failure?
Ron didn’t know the answers to these questions but he knew one thing. Ron Stoppable existed no more. He removed all items from his pockets including his wallet and house keys. Next to a sleeping Rufus Ron left a note asking that his little friend be taken care of. He then walked out of the Middleton Hospital and hailed a cab. Ron had the cab drive him north to Upperton. Once he reached the outskirts of Middleton Ron got out of the cab and looked back at the city one last time. He then started walking through Upperton leaving everyone and everything he knew behind.
