What's your favorite type of Kim Possible, for me it's crossover, and Kim/Other Romance, since I'm sick of all these Kim/Ron Kim/Drakken and Kim/Shego Romances, but that's just me, so I decided to break all the rules, and have Kim fall in love with a non-KP Character

I love the good ones ;D. If it's good written, I would even like a Kigo fic. (Grrr...I had no time to read any fanfics for months )

I can point you to the best Kigo fics, if you want...
On topic, in terms of the romance in the story, I honestly couldn't care less about a pairing. If the story is well written, the fact it has a certain ship pairing that I don't necessarily prefer means jack squat. There are many incredibly written stories out there that don't even HAVE a romantic pairing in the story at all. I'll still love the fic, because the story was what was excellent, not because it was, say, a Kigo fic.

Anything with lots of action/adventure with some K/R shippyness such as "The Lotus Bloom."

I like a variety of different types of KP fanfiction, as long as it's written well and has a decent plot, then I like it. However, if it only focuses on a pairing then I tend to avoid it.

I prefer to write in the style of the show keeping in bounds with what the creators like. However, I don't mind fanfics that stray and go into drama so long as it is COMPLETED. I can't stand being left on a cliffhanger with K/R in turmoil. I'm only keeping up with Equal Romance cause I started reading it and damnit if I'm not going to finish it...

I personally like cross overs and AU but i had to pick one. Reading through my stories I tend to like crossover(or fusion whatever). Heck planning to do another fusion soon as I'm done with one of my stories.
I also enjoyed reading ClassicCowboys stuff. The vash crossover was also good. Can't remember the author for it. Then again can't argue with AU. Look at Mr. Dr. P Nacho Boy and Dragon Lady story.
As for K/R yeah I tend to favor it. I've skipped stories that didn't have it. I think my stories will start showing it but I also like Ron/Bon and my stories also show that one ;D
Getting a little annoyed with all the bash Kim stories. Then again I'm worried I might be doing the same. Trying not to but hey way the story flows.

If there was an "other" button.. I would choose anything involving the villains as the top main characters (whether it's all shippy and lovey or not)... but i like my fics IN CHARACTER...

I like a lot of different stories. G-Go's ReUnion and Union are two of my favorites along with Cyberwraith9's Power Trilogy. I also like stories that give some back history into the characters whoever they maybe.

I tend to read canonically supported pairings or non-romantic pairings.
There tends to be two views towards fanfiction. The first believes that it is fanfiction and the author can thus do whatever they wish just because they want it. The second believes that it is fanfiction and thus is bound by the canon and anything done must be explained in the context of what has been shown.
I am pretty firmly in the second group.
The problem, in general, with alternate pairings is that authors seldom spend the time or effort to make them believable. Thus they tend largely to fall into the first category. IE the couple is brought into contact and they immediately realize that everything shown in the show has all been a farce and they have secretly been in love the whole time. Sorry, I don’t buy it.
I just don’t have the time to spend on a fanfiction that is most likely not going to be portraying the characters in a way that I can reasonably see them acting. I read KP fanfiction because I like the story and characters as they have been presented so far. Some extrapolation is great, but I hated the lack of respect given to continuity in the show and I don’t have the desire to read fanfiction that further throws continuity out the window.
