Wow sounds like there will be a lot of competition. There goes my chance Anyway its not about the goal but the journey one takes going there. Therefore I encourage everyone who wants to take part in this to do so despite certain horrible defeat. Anyway my optimism aside looking forward to it. Wondering what topics we will be getting. Hopefully something that allows all of us to go crazy a little bit.

I can't tear myself away from these two KP and Harry Potter fanfics, so I'm sorry.

One last question,
What time will it be posted?
I'm still up for it but I have class all day tomorrow (and a 1 1/2hour car ride till I'm home).

Well I figure actual comments about the topic should go here.
First off shoot! I'm not good at romance...or maybe its I'm too good at it for my own comfort. Lot of my stories tend to deal with it...hm...focus elsewhere now.
Anyway is it odd to make a depressing christmas story or a violent one? Now I got to ponder that out. Well looking forward to submissions coming in. GL to all our true romance writters. The car dude and me I think well have a little problem with this. Unless car dude writes about cars!
Now onto the important question.
1. Can we submit stories early just to get them out of the way? I figure I'll write mine up this or next week. Still got to figure out an overall plot.

Well I figure actual comments about the topic should go here. Works for me. Who said it had to be romance? The topic was carefully worded to allow for a vast range of interpretations. There is nothing at all wrong with writing a depressing or even a violent story dealing with Christmas shopping. Right off of the top of my head I can think of two very depressing stories dealing with Christmas shopping. One violent one comes to mind, but it is also a comedic piece. Write what you want to write about, just try and work the theme of Christmas shopping into it somewhere. That is part of the fun of these is trying to work the theme into your style and preferred area of writing. Also, if you notice the rules state that “The story must deal primarily with characters from the Kim Possible television series.” It doesn’t say anything about exclusively. Write a crossover if you want, just make sure that the primary focus is on the KP characters to satisfy this rule. Now onto the important question. 1. Can we submit stories early just to get them out of the way? I figure I'll write mine up this or next week. Still got to figure out an overall plot. Of course. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the more prolific writers don’t have their stories done within a couple of days. 25,000 characters is not a long story.
