Three years and thirty stories are gone! I get on ff.net the other day, and every single thing I have ever written has been deleated. Yeah, it sucks.
I had this KP story on there called 'So the Same Drama' and I was really enjoying it! I can only find about half the chapters. Should I bother rewriting it?

Everything is gone? Wow. That REALLY sucks. Anyway, to the question. If you enjoyed writing it then, sure. Why not re-write it? I probably would. And who knows? Your re-write may be better than the original!

So how much of the story did I actually find for you? I thought I found more than half! *cries*
Really, everyone, I had to sit on the computer and find the original copies of that story for Jamie!

Things getting deleted are the terror of writers everywhere whether it be term papers for school or a beloved fanfic. All I can say is have multiple copies of everything, everywhere. I even e-mail some things to myself. I hope you're able to recover what you've lost.

I don't wanna say it's your fault, (because why should anyone expect that ff.net deletes everything without a warning?) but why don't you have any backups of your stories? I got every story I wrote printed and on three different CD's.
But I hope you can get your stories back. Good luck!
